Located in the heart of Downtown Edmonds, Salt & Iron brings the comfort of American Northwest cuisine. The brainchild of partners Andrew Leckie and Shubert Ho, their mission is to provide a comfortable dining experience that includes local oysters, steaks and great American cuisine.
Salt & Iron's dining room designed by visionary firm Inspired Interiors of Edmonds, brings a brighter and more welcoming dining atmosphere to the Downtown core. It is located just a short walk from the Kingston Ferry and the iconic Edmonds Fountain, where the Edmonds Farmers' Market and the Edmonds Art Walk take place. A full bar provides craft cocktails, local wines and draft beers to accompany the dining experience.

    Excellent food! Oysters were fresh and clean. Steaks were perfectly cooked. Medium bark on the outside, tender and juicy medium inside. Great bourbon selection in the bar!

    This was our first visit to Salt & Iron, but it certainly will not be our last. I had the 8 oz. filet and it was outstanding - tasty and grilled to perfection. My wife had the halibut and raved about how good it was. But what stood out above all else was the service. Our server, Diane, was extremely attentive and professional, but still very friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed, but without hovering. And if you go to Salt & Iron, be sure to treat yourself to some ice cream for dessert! Yum yum!

    Always a Great time! Sitting at the bar is our choice, lively, always meet someone new, and the service is spot on, instant. We always start off with a Grey Goose martini, straight up with olives. This visit we had Calamari, excellent and a Salmon dish, and Halibit, which were off the chart. We will be back!

    The food and service were both excellent. They were packed for a Wednesday night and it was a little noisy but not too excessive. My only critique would be the chocolate espresso martini. It was not great since it tasted like it was made with espresso vodka and Hershey’s chocolate syrup. I wouldn’t order that again unless they add it to their drink menu and make an effort to use decent ingredients. I was hoping for some holiday specialty drinks but they had nothing special.
