The food is pretty good. However, service leaves a lot to be desired. We went there on a windy day and they don’t have heaters at some of the tables. Our waiter did not bother moving us to another table although they had other open tables. Disappointing experience. Will not go back.

We had a wonderful lunch and overall experience at Salt and Lime. Everyone’s food was delicious, the margaritas amazing, great service, and beautiful view. Can’t ask for more!

Ate here with my son and husband. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. The queso fundido with mushrooms was excellent. The homemade corn tortillas were delicious as was the cheese and mushrooms. The chips and salsa were very good too. Chips appeared to be made out of those yummy corn tortillas. I had a virgin margarita and it was also excellent. Made with their home made syrup. It was basically just a limeade without the alcohol, but nonetheless delicious. We all had tacos. I ordered the fish taco, carne asada taco and Al pastor. The tacos were very large, I was only able to eat 1 1/2, and that was pushing it. So I didn’t try the asada taco. They looked so delicious, but the two I ate were lacking in flavor. They both kind of tasted bland. I couldn’t even taste the spices on the Al pastor at all, Nor was there much pineapple. I tried adding flavor with the green salsa and habanero sauce, but it didn’t do much for me. Tamarindo down the street had much better mahi/octopus taco. I probably won’t go back for their tacos, but would return for the other items, and try something different for my entree. Food was a little expensive too. Service was ok. I have definitely had much better attentive and friendly service in San Diego. My water was left empty a lot and the hostess was not friendly.

Expensive. Service was good. Four is an 8. Portions aren’t very big. Waitress played word Gabe’s with the chips, and we ended up with guac and chips… $12 later…

It has a clever, imaginative menu, but not comfort food—mostly open air so cold on breezy cool days even with heaters.
