The setting is outstanding. A gorgeous view. My husband ordered chicken and waffles, I ordered steak & eggs. There was more sugar in my husband’s chicken & waffles than I have ever seen. There was powdered sugar and whipped cream on his chicken. The chicken wasn’t a normal piece of fried chicken but rather two chicken strips (no bones). I don’t think he ate more than half because he felt kind of ill. My food was okay. However, I was supposed to receive a petite filet with bernaise sauce, asparagus with hollandaise and breakfast potatoes. What I received was a small piece of hanger steak (not petite filet at all), no bernaise sauce, and about 5 very bulbous, round potatoes that were literally dropped in oil with the occasional piece of onion and pepper, scrambled eggs and asparagus with hollandaise. The potatoes were oily and boring.. the meat was not the correct cut. I paid $41 for a tiny piece of hanger steak instead of what the menu stated. However, what I received although incorrect was cooked properly and tasted fine. We also ordered the avocado hummus appetizer. While the warm pitas were lovely, it looked pretty mediocre. It also looked like someone simply dumped some pieces of crudite on a plate, and plopped a bunch of pita next to it (I could probably have done a better job).. there was no real flavor to the avocado hummus. Service was fine. Setting was gorgeous. But food was mediocre.

My husband proposed to me at this restaurant in 2022 and we went here last night for New Year’s Eve dinner and it was perfect. The food and ambiance are always on point. We sat outside looking at the marina and got to see the fireworks

Our server was fantastic. But the food is extremely expensive for the quality, which is "meh." Not-so-fresh crabs legs. Severely overcooked porkchop. Boring salmon. The cocktails were decent. Tipped well, because our server was great... but probably won't go back, because for $330 for 3 people, the food (before tip) should be very good, don't you think?

Maybe cuz it was Christmas day, but the restaurant advertised a prix fix as well as a la carte menu available. What was offered once we sat down was a very limited menu with the oddest choices. Chicken and Waffles, omelettes, eggs benedict for dinner. salads. scallops and a filet which we opted for, which was well cooked, but chewy. and btw, no vegetables included. no bread in sight. just a lonely $60 dollar filet. I was concerned about the menu being offered and chose Salt because my son who is fab and autistic has a limited palate and their every day a la carte menu that i thought was being offered included two of his favs - calamari and lobster (via surf and turf -- the plan was to share- i would take the turf). but neither items were on the menu . no steak sandwiches, no mussels. all back ups off their every day menu. I asked whether they could make him a burger, they refused. i was hoping to make this a memorable Christmas meal at $300, and it was memorable, for all the wrong reasons. Other than the setting, the beautiful marina, which delivered. And the oysters! yum.

Worst dinner experience I've ever had! The server was very disrespectful got all of our food orders incorrect! Then ordered chicken tenders and they were completely raw!!! Was expecting a nice Christmas dinner with family and it turned into a worst nightmare. Definitely not going back the service and the food was horrible. If staff don't want to work on holidays the guests should not suffer for it completely disrespectful.

Been here a few times and to be honest, I think it’s gotten quite a bit better. We went for the boat show and it was super fun. Quite a busy Saturday night with everything going on, so service was a tad slow but very friendly and they helped to fix some issues. I thought food was awesome. Hawaii poke was super, diver scallops were great. Everyone had a good time. will be back.

We booked a dinner here with friends to enjoy the Marina Del Rey Christmas Boat Parade, and overall, it was a great experience. The table location was excellent, and as always, the ambiance with the marina view was hard to beat. Despite the chilly evening, the restaurant provided plenty of lawn heaters to keep us warm and comfortable. The food was delicious, though there was a hiccup with my partner’s order of the pork ragu—it was never served due to a mix-up. Fortunately, we had already enjoyed the lobster bisque, which was rich and flavorful, along with crispy French fries as a side. My braised short ribs were perfectly cooked, tender, and generously portioned, so it was easy to share. For dessert, we opted for the bread pudding, which was warm, comforting, and a perfect way to end the meal. While we loved the evening, we weren’t able to get a full view of the boat parade from our table. Lesson learned—we’ll plan differently next time if watching the parade is a priority. Parking was convenient with valet service, and the $10 validation for 4 hours was a nice perk. Overall, it was a lovely evening with great food and good company. Apart from the one-off mistake with the order, the service was attentive, and everyone in our group had a fantastic time. We’ll definitely be back!
