The food on the seafood tower was fantastic. The pastrami salmon was incredible - I've never had anything like it. The hamachi and shrimp were also wonderful. The cocktails were incredible too. The special, otoro sashimi was tasty as well. My husband took a photo of the otoro sashimi, presumably to laugh with me at how tiny the portion was for the cost ($27), which was definitely the theme of the evening. My "I would want this information if I were the owner" feedback would be more a la carte options presented on the menu, such as shrimp by the 1/2 pound, a greater oyster and caviar variety, and a greater beer variety. I felt bad having to ask our server to price out so many different items al la carte and it would just be nice to be able to order them off the menu. Additionally, it doesn't seem like a big deal, but not blocking off the path that leads from the bar to the bathroom would be good. It's a small space and if staff are standing there there it's difficult to move around them.

We came here to celebrate pour son's 18th birthday. Direct, I have to say that my husband and I have been here three times in the last two months (twice this last two weeks). Every staff member has been amazing. They are all super attentive, friendly, and very knowledgable (and honest) about items on the menu. Last week, we went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the manager comped our cocktails. Last night for our son's 18th birthday, they helped celebrate by sending over a chocolate cake with a huge sparkler. The happy hour is incredible. so many choices and all items are either $3, $6, or $9 with the cocktails on the HH menu being $12. Our server, Eric was awesome. At the end of the evening, we were greeted by one of the managers who was lovely. She thanked us for our visits and spent a few minutes with us congratulating us on our anniversary and our son's birthday. The ambiance was, I would say, lively, but not too noisy. Everyone just seemed to be having a good time. I would recommend SWS for your every day dining experience, or to celebrate a special occasion - you won't regret it! They even have a private room for a larger party. Thanks for making our son's 18th so special guys!!!!

Tables were way too close together. It was too loud. The food was mediocre . We had a reservation but still had to wait 25 min for our table.

Really great food and cocktails! We waited probably 20 minutes for our table despite having a reservation. Our server came by only twice after he took our order. Said he was getting us fresh bread and never came back! Never filled our water. We flagged down another server and asked for bread but still didn’t get it until the end of the meal. And we flagged down yet another server to fill our water glasses. At the very end of our meal. Our original server came by at the end of the meal to see if we wanted dessert. Then we had to flag him down later to get the check. They dropped one of our Lil Brgs on the floor so we only got 2 initially - they had to cook a new one so we didn’t get that until the very end of the meal. The food really was delicious though. It was just mildly shadowed by the poor service. The bartender told us this place has been open 11 days. I think this place will be great once they get themselves together. Seems they are working out some operational kinks. Their scheduling seems off - so many people with reservations waiting for a very long time. They need to weed out the uninterested and aloof servers or maybe train them? Overall great cocktail and food concepts and execution.

My overall experience was very subpar. Although the service was good, the food was not worth the price at all.

Brandon, our server was excellent. He was very busy but still managed to be attentive. Food was great, especially the yellowtail fried rice and the salmon Wellington. Tables close together and quite noisy atmosphere.

Great service, great food, and great vibe! My wife and I ordered the tomahawk steak and it was more than enough to share!

This is our second recent visit to Salt Water, and probably the last. It is very expensive for average food and portion sizes. Examples, The cheapest chardonnay on the by the glass list is $20! $37 for fish and chips with just a few soggy fries. Service was average. There ae many better choices in Cherry Creek.

Disappointing and overpriced. Large space with very few diners. Caesar salad and Cioppino were bland. One would need a magnifying glass to find the mussels in the shell they were so small…probably cheap(?). My wife liked her Ahi Tuna and my favorite dish was the chocolate cake. My wife did not finish her “Cheesecake cone” dessert, which was a very small portion….lot of show but no substance. The prices on the menu are very faint and hard to see vs food descriptions. If you want to charge $250 for dinner for two, then you need to work on the recipes and buy (much) better ingredients, otherwise there are several restaurants that come to mind where miney is better spent. On the other hand, we were very pleased with Sergio and his support staff. Would like to see this restaurant succeed, hence the harsh and truthful review.
