   Absolutely amazing! You get what you pay for! It’s a must to splurge during a visit to Anguilla. The table-side ceviche is a dish you cannot miss!

   Drinks at cocktail hour took an hour to get. Then walked to our reservation at Salt waiting another 1hr for our first drinks. The server was nice but extremely slow and then disappeared. Another staff member took over and things slightly improved. Bill was even wrong. Manager was kind and apologized but have to say I was very disappointed .

   Absolutely lovely welcome from the hostess. Didn't love our seat at first but was happy later as their were a lot of large parties. The server we had was not fully engaged and rushed us to order, coming back to our table multiple times to hurry the process. The johnnycakes at the beginning was very tasty and I appreciate the time Melvin took to explain the salts and how they are made and complimented. The pork chop was delicious, and having it sous vide made it tender. The surf and turf was not great. I first informed someone that the truffle fries lacked truffles after seeing them on multiple tables. They took it back and put them on. The crayfish was very mushy and soft and i didn't eat them as I thought it might make me sick. I informed 3 separate people who asked if everything was great and they looked shocked and said they would say something and I never saw anyone again. No management, zero. All in all a subpar experience and can't say I would recommend.

   I has been dreaming about the Caribbean curry at Salt since ny visiit last year. However, this year out of caution, I asked to taste the curry sauce before ordering. Im glad i did. It was overly salted and too spicy this year. Not at all what I had last year. The manager arranged for us to order from the menu at another restaurant which was good. But the chef at Salt needs to use a less heavy hand for the base sauce and then can up the heat for individuals who so desire. And leave the salt on low — thats why theres a salt shaker on the table.
