    Not sure if the server had too many tables or what was going on but the service was horrible. My beverage and water sat empty on the table for more than 20 minutes, they failed to bring the salad for my wife’s meal. Doing anything just took a long time such as paying the check. My expectation was a higher end steak house and honestly, I could have had the same experience at Texas long horn, or outback.

    It was a little loud to have conversations and there was a big group ahead of us so had to wait a long time for food- like an hour

    We both had one of their steaks and they were perfect. The meal comes with one side and a big crisp salad. Not many restaurants include salad any more. The homemade carrot cake (big piece) was delicious. Our server, Cheyanne, was charming and extremely helpful in making choices. The decor is western motif and fits the restaurant perfectly. We will return.

    I'm torn on my review because my server kept getting my meal mixed up, but he was quick to fix the errors and friendly, so overall, four stars. The steaks are juicy and delicious. Sides were cooked well. I would say that the grilled shrimp were over cooked, but tasty.

    Salt Grass Steakhouse is usually always good. The service and the food was very good today. We like going here for a good steak/meal.
