My server was actually someone I went to school with she was great offering some suggestions to us since this was our second time being there last time we were there was like 2 years ago

They were completely overwhelmed for New Year’s Eve. Had a 6:30 reservation and got seated at 7:25. Had tons of open tables so I would imagine they were also under staffed.

I wouldn’t recommend making a reservation….we had our reservation at 615 and weren’t seated until almost 7. The server we had was great but the front hostesses were rude from the time we came in.

A positive experience. We had lunch on Christmas day. It was nice and we do not regret going out for the first time on Christmas. We had a couple of issues that were graciously taken care of, so we definitely will return another time. Being Christmas day, we had reservations (for 7) and the table was ready for us as soon as we arrived. The food was very good, with the exception of the quality of one steak and the temperature of one meal. As I said, they were very gracious and took care of the issue in the manner any quality restaurant would. The service was very good. Service was a little slow, but expected. The restaurant were very busy and it appeared the servers were having to cover a lot of tables. It actually allowed us to not feel rushed. We appreciate them being open on Christmas Day, unlike most other restaurants, and making it an enjoyable time.

Our waiter made us feel as if we were in a 5 star dining on Christmas Day! His care and customer service provided is the best in DFW! The restaurant was busy day and yet, it felt as if we were the only ones that mattered. The entire staff was in full service mood, like a well oiled machine. All with kindness, smiles and merry! Congrats to the management, job well done. Saltgrass in Plano has risen to the top of my list! Our steaks were perfect! Thanks open door for reservation’s, it was so easy! When we arrived our table was ready, greeted us with a smile and warm fresh bread right from the oven. *****+++

Had a great dinner, great appetizers, which were happy hour half off, and great service last night for m son’s graduation dinner. Everyone enjoyed the time and all the various foods ordered. We had no issues at all while there. We had 9 people so it was a decent size. Definitely recommend Saltgrass Steak House in Plano on 75.

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to express my disappointment regarding our dining experience at Saltgrass in Plano, TX on Thanksgiving Day. We made reservations well in advance, looking forward to a traditional turkey meal. Upon arriving at 2:30 PM, we were seated promptly and placed our order, only to be informed by the kitchen manager that you had run out of turkey meals. To add to our frustration, we were told we could not order from the lunch/early dining menu either. Reluctantly, we settled for our regular choices—steak and pork chop—neither of which matched our expectations for Thanksgiving. To make matters worse, when we attempted to end the meal with pumpkin cheesecake, we were told that was unavailable as well. It seems these shortages occurred long before closing hours, which makes the experience even harder to accept. Our bill totaled $115 for a meal we didn’t want, without any offer of compensation or alternatives to make up for the situation. Thankfully, our server Rachael was delightful and empathetic, though she too seemed baffled by the unavailability of such key menu items on Thanksgiving Day. This experience fell far short of the standards we’ve come to expect from Saltgrass, and I hope steps can be taken to prevent similar situations in the future. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I would appreciate a response regarding this matter.
