   I have had dinner three times at Saltine within the last 2 months. They constantly serve top quality food and service at a reasonable price. If you are in Norfolk, I highly recommend making reservations or stop in at the bar.

   Short ribs could not eat. So salty. Waiter did not no much. Will not go back. Vibe is not me.

   We have been to Saltine before. Great seafood, service was excellent and attentive. Grilled Rockfish and Wahoo with succatash and salads are both outstanding. Thanks to Trevor our server for a great experience.

   Food was very good. Waiter was not very attentive. If spending this amount of money for great food, the wait staff has to meet the expectation of fine dining. Ours did not

   We got seated in the upstairs area which is quiet but poorly serviced - it requires a trip up the stairs for everything (or at least it did last night…). While the server was pleasant, our location was clearly an irritant. We were never offered a second drink or a glass of wine , our water glasses were never refilled and when we finished our main courses, she summarily presented us with the check - no offer of dessert - a clear not-so-subtle queue to leave. It was a real disappointment for $150.

   Food was good but overpriced. It took forever to be served. This happened the last time I was here. Been here 3 times. Disappointed because the location is great. Oyster specials are only at the bar and there’s no place to sit! So if you are seated in the dining area you don’t get the special.

   Food was very good and service was attentive. The noise became an issue when a large loud group came in from the bar. It kind of spoiled an otherwise enjoyable experience.
