SALTY’S Sunday breakfast buffet is heavenly. The variety of offerings, quality of food, and attentive service always blows me away. Be warned: the price has almost doubled from pre-COVID prices to $90, but it is still worth it (to me) for special occasions.

We had reservations on a night that the Christmas ships were out. It was our 1st time to the restaurant and it was perfect. They were so busy but the staff were all professional and kind. Place was clean. Food was good. No complaints.

It's out 9th year going to Salty's for the Christmas ship parade and it never disappoints! My granddaughters look forward to it all year long!

Friendly service and timely but they didn't rush us even though they asked everyone prior to seating if they could limit their time to one and a half hour due to both fleets of the Christmas ships the night we went. We both had Fish and Chips with Fries with an appetizer of brussel sprouts. Brussel Sprouts were served with pickled peppers and parmesan cheese. (we asked to omit the bacon). Fish was cooked perfect, not overly breaded. Fries were just OK. Kinda limp and not flavorful. Huckleberry Lemon Drop was delicious. A to Z Pinot Noir 2021 was good. The White Chocolate Mousse Cake was very tasty. Zack was our waiter and he was a delight!

If you live in Portland/Vancouver or are visiting do not miss the opportunity to dine at one of my family's all time favorites, Salty's on the Columbia. Today, while visiting from Boston my mother and I had an outstanding experience, We cannot even begin to rave about the perfectly trained service, the incredible menu, the food presented and of course THE VIEW!! One never tires of river, the mountains, the boats on the water from the windows. She had the incredible Slab Salad (think wedge salad without the wedge). I started with a cup of the Salty's clam chowder with tiny bay shrimp (a Pacific Ocean speciality not found on our East Coast) and then the Dungeness Crab (an other Pacific delicacy) cheese melt. Washing it down with the Phelps Pinot Noir. Excellent. We wrapped up our lovely time together with a slice of the desert chef's holiday specialty of pumpkin cream pie! Try Salty's. You will never forget it.

A special place to enjoy the river view. Food and drinks were delicious with a wonderful variety. Would recommend Salty’s any time of the year and especially to watch the Christmas ships!

Salty's is an occasion restaurant, right on the Columbia River. It is quite expensive, like, majorly, for the food. But everybody liked their food and the expensive cocktails were good sized. I would go again.

If you enjoy Dungeness Crab, this is the place to go. The Sunday brunch buffet has no limit to the amount of crab you can eat, and it is fresh and delicious. The buffet also serves traditional breakfast entrees, and at the carving station they had ham and prime rib. The dessert area was full of decadent selections, with the creme brulee stealing the show. Excellent place for special events as it is pricey, but that makes it even more special.

A birthday celebration. We have been here many times and we knew we would have at least a quality experience. Namesake oysters were a real treat. Entrees were all good, nothing was amazingly great: we had the garlic chili prawns and scallops, the pork belly and scallops and the tempura tuna. Everything was good. Service was excellent. Very attentive and excellent team work. Ok, ways to improve. Calamari was barely warm. At this price point it needs to be perfect. White wine options were inadequate. Cambria from CA. Really? as we sit in some of the best wine options in the US? Most things are overly priced for the value. Portions are small for the charge. With all this said, we had an enjoyable dinner and seeing the holiday boats on the Columbia made things special.
