Hello Everyone my name is Kiki and I come from a family background of restaurant entrepreneurs, this is my husband's and I second Italian Restaurant, Benny is the Chef and owner as well, he migrated to the United States when he was 13 and worked under the best Italian Chefs in New York City. So we are bringing Chicago and New York Dishes to your backyard. This restaurant we wanted it to make you feel as if you were dinning in the streets of Italy, with our cement floors to the hanging trees to the brick walls. Our dishes our truly one of a kind, the Chicken Parmigiana is to die for, Sea Bass is to live for, and the Chocolate Cake is to fall in love with. Your really in for a treat, come check us out you will not be disappointed..

    We have been to Salute many many times. We always make reservations and we get seated immediately. It was extremely busy last night and we waited over 30 minutes for our table, even though we already had reservations. A lot of people with reservations were waiting even longer than us. Maybe it’s time to expand? We’ll be back as we love the food and service is outstanding!

    We love the food and service at Salute. One of our very favorite places. But last night, the crowds were not managed well. We had reservations and still waited 30 minutes to get in. The restaurant needs to re-visit their plans to let reserved guests vs walk-ins or they will lose customers.

    Appetizers and main dish were good. Dessert was supposed to be hot lava cake but chocolate in center was still cold and wasn’t hot at all. Was very crowded and loud. Hap people standing right next to our table as we waited 45 min for our order. Was expecting more since was highly recommended. Was good but not worth the money.

    A wonderful evening spent with friends. The food was delicious. The eggplant parm was SO tasty. Chicken Francaise was cooked to perfection. Huge portions.

    Addy was our server and did an excellent job! The food was amazing. I think they need to expand to manage the crowd that appeared, no doubt for the food, atmosphere, and service. It is my go to place for Italian food.

    Food was great. Would’ve love to have an option to have garlic butter to go with the crab cakes instead of the sauce that it came with. Overall I enjoyed the food and it was very nice inside.

    I'm hesitant to write a great review. This little hidden gem with outstanding food and service is not so hidden anymore. This has easily become our number 1 spot to dine out in the local area. The food is fantastic, the service is impeccable, and you can tell the management and ownership care about the business. The result is an awesome experience. My wife loves the GF options and our difficult 11 year old has not left disappointed yet!
