   The menu was great. The lamb and Branzino delightful. The desserts were light. One in our party was a huge guava ice cream fan.

   Excellent service, excellent consideration of our dietary needs, and excellent food! Our waiter was exceptional and describes each dish we asked about in detail and gave perfect recommendations. The lamb dish was the best meat we have ever eaten - order it and enjoy! Persimmon stracciatella salad was also a favorite, could have ordered 2 because it was so good!

   A beautiful venue on the 10th floor of the Conrad building. We went before a concert at Disney Hall really enjoyed the Greek waiter and the food was great.

   We visited the San Laurel for the Thanksgiving experience. We were so pleased they could accommodate our 24 hour notice. Our table was outside on the 10th floor with a gorgeous view of the city lights and neighboring Disney Concert Hall. They provided blankets and a heat lamp to add to the cozy ambiance! The service was impeccable and food and wine pairings were spot on. Each course was a delight to our taste buds. Would highly recommend this restaurant .

   ¡Claro! Aquí tienes la traducción: The place is well-located and nice, but the menu is limited, not exceptional, and overpriced. We tried the ribeye, which was very average, some prawns, Iberian ham, and the mac & cheese. I think the best things were the bread and the Iberian ham. I wouldn’t go back to eat there.

   Food was great...biggest issues were with the wine service. First we ordered a sparkling wine and was served in a general wine glass that didn't keep the effervescence within the glass. 2nd the serving was not correct after presenting the wine and pouring the sample to the guest who ordered then filled that same glass instead of pouring rest of table starting with the ladies then men and then returning to the host to top up. 2nd should have asked if party was going to one of the performances across the street...at end of the meal server disappeared and it was hard to get check and settle..with a location across from multiple performance venues that info is important to pace meal and get guests out in good order

    At breakfast I had the best congee I ever had in the United States at San Laurel. The ingredients were spectacular. Home made dried pork hash was made from jamon iberico and their XO sauce was also homemade by the chef. I shall order congee for breakfast every time I stay at Conrad Downtown LA.
