My boyfriend and I had a wonderful Valentines Dinner. They staff were more than friendly and extremely accommodating to my food allergies.

It was my first time there and was Brunch Time. Wait staff never came back to fill up water glasses or coffee. Although the food was good, the dishes has multiple chips on them displaying a cheap look to the meal. Once everyone was done eating waitress never asked if anyone wanted dessert or coffee. For the amount one pays, it definitely should have been better.

The staff was very friendly, and the food was tasty. Reservation was at 7:45 PM and didn't get seated until 8:40 PM. Ordered drinks (1 glass of wine and 2 cocktails) when we got seated at the table, and our food came before our drinks.

We arrived on time for our 7:30 pm reservation and were told there was a 15 minute wait. After repeatedly checking, we were finally seated at 8:30. For much of the waiting time we had to stand in the crowded lobby of the Shinola Hotel. That said, however, the food was fabulous. I had the brussel sprouts and the black ink seafood pasta. My partner had the burrito salad and the scallops. If we do return, we would have them again. The service was quite spotty. Our server would disappear force extended periods of time. If the management can possibly learn how to manage reservations, as most restaurants do, we would go back again. (Takeout may be a much better option.)

Food was cold. Very disappointed in the change in the salsa Rosa for the steak, it now looks like chewed up brains so that was fun to try to digest with my lukewarm medium done steak.

Gorgeous venue but was very loud. The service was awful. The waiter wouldn’t let us order appetizers and dinner separately. He said he needed to put it all in together because that’s “what the chef wanted”. So we felt rushed to make a dinner selection. We got the ricotta appetizer which was plain. No flavor and did not have honey in it. It said it “hot” ricotta and it was not spicy nor warm! Yucky. The Brussels sprout appetizer was super greasy. And then dinner didn’t come. An hour later i had to find the waiter - who never came back after delivering the appetizers. He said he put the order in but we waited some more. I had to find him again to order a glass of wine. Three times other “bussers” came by and took dishes we weren’t done with and swept crumbs off the table - like they were in a hurry to turn the table. Over all it was just a lousy experience. Even the “manager type” came by. He didn’t introduce himself and started clearing the table. I don’t write bad reviews. Never have. This was just wrong on every level.
