   There is far more to a restaurant (that touts itself as upscale) than the food. We made a reservation and received a reminder that failure to cancel the reservation within 3 hours of the booked time would result in a $25.00 fee. EACH! They take reservations seriously (as they should!) We showed up precisely on time and the hostess was busy so we had to wait, but only for a few minutes. She motioned us into the restaurant but she about knocked my friend out of the way to go first through the door. We were seated near the door and noticed some other very ungracious entrances and exits from the restaurant with this hostess including on our way out! No thank you at all. The server was very pleasant and service was good. Food was good, but small portions for the price. There is only one unisex bathroom and it was not the cleanest and the toilet seat had both bolts ready to fall off making it extremely wobbly. I felt sorry for the woman who came out before I went in. Here’s what really tanked this review. My friend who paid mistakenly left his credit card in the bill wallet. He didn’t realize it until the next morning. Two voicemails went unreturned. Called the restaurant several times. They open at 430pm and they did not answer a SECOND before 430pm. There had to be a manager of some sort there prior to opening to listen and return voicemails. As I mentioned, they take their reservations seriously, so they knew EXACTLY who made the reservation and a phone number and since our reservation was made via Open Table they also had access to the email address. They made absolutely no attempt to call us even though we were early diners and left by 730pm and would have known which table the credit card belonged to. When my friend finally got through on the phone at exactly 430pm, they did in fact have it. When he went back into the restaurant to retrieve it, they had a drawer full of credit cards. This is all really BAD customer service.

   A really great sushi restaurant with a hip and happening vibe. Casual and appealing ambiance, and some of the most creative and sensationally tasty sushi around.

   They ran out of most of the sushi and the only thing I had to eat from my order was edamame. We even asked the hostess before we sat down to confirm that they had sushi left and she said yes they had all their sushi available. The rest of my party finished eating and only then was I told no sushi that I ordered was available. When we complained to the manager offered to give me the wagyu steak so I said yes and then it came out cold so I left and had to order pizza because nothing else was open. The server was excellent and very attentive and apologetic so we appreciated him.

   Great food as always! Sat outside this which was nice since the weather wasn’t bad. It’s a little expensive but very enjoyable.

   Once again a fantastic experience at Sandfish! Great sushi and cocktails. My 9 year old really enjoyed the miso soup, apps and sashimi.

   Always great experience. Cocktail menu is a bit smaller but they can still make whatever you may want.

   The salmon sashimi was a little fishy and the roll was bland. The fried Avacado was bizarre and also lacked flavor and substance. Overall I’d be open to trying again but was not impressed with the food. The service however was wonderful and attentive.

   Excellent DJ! Not too loud and great mix of music! Completely unexpected! We even Shazam- ed a few songs. Sushi satisfying, will go back!
