From a Casual sit down service to lively late night bar experience; Santa Mulata Restaurant & Bar in Punta Cana 🇩🇴 offers a unique and delicious blend of International, Mediterranean, and Caribbean cuisine. Chef Raúl González beautifully presents dishes that will definitely surprise you and that are complemented by a well selected wine & beverage list, creating a memorable dining experience in a vibrant atmosphere. We offer Indoor Air conditioned seating as well as a Terrace/Outdoor area.

Try our Mulata Steak, The Shrimp Coconut Risotto, our beautifully presented Pork Chop, or any other dish in our Menu.

The party mood kicks off after 11:30pm with live music Thursday´s and Saturday´s with local artists as well as DJ nights Friday and Saturday as well. The beverage selection is accompanied with a bite sized Street Food Deluxe menu that runs until 2:00am as well.

Excellent. The chef could easily be at a 5 star NY restaurant. Just great. Bravo.

We found this little restaurant and saw that it had good reviews. We decided to try it with our grown kids and young teens. The restaurant is small yet clean. The outdoors is quite nice and since it was a good evening we decided to eat outside which was our first mistake. The music from Coco Bongo and Santa Mulata seemed to be in competition and the beautiful outdoor ambiance was obliterated with just loud noise. The service was extremely poor. Even though the restaurant (outdoor/indoor seating) was rather empty we had to wait 20 mins before someone would take our order and even then we had to chase her down to get service. Our waitress was pleasant but managed to badly bungle our order. We received our appetizers and first entree within 10 mins but we had to wait another 25 mins for five of the entrees. When they didn't bring my daughter's entree I asked where the grilled octopus was and while they tried to make it sound like it was coming, it was clear that they had forgotten the order as she had to wait another 15 mins for her entree. On the positive side the food was actually quite tasty appropriately sized portions. It is hard to recommend based on the service and ambiance that we experienced, I would give them another try simply because we may have hit an "off-night" and the food was actually quite good.

This restaurant is new. And just so you foreigners understand, it is one of many spots situated right next door to Coco Bongo in downtown Punta Cana. This may seem odd, especially to a food snob American (like me) but I promise you the food here is excellent. We met the chef, a very humble, down to earth guy originally from Spain. He shared that he cut his teeth in San Sebastián restaurants before moving here 10 years ago. He is smart, creative and very eager to please. We loved about 3 meals in the Punta Cana area over 8 days of eating and this was one of them!

Service was outstanding. The food was perfection. Try the hibiscus infused vodka. We finished the night with the best espresso martinis we’ve had in Punta Cana. Would highly recommend for a fun night out with friends or your better half. This is a party atmosphere so expect alot of music and noise. It’s right next to Coco Bongo so people are going there to party and enjoy the scene.

One word : Formidable ! Thanks to the amazing Chef, his cuisine is one of the best and he deserves a one star Michelin ⭐️ Thanks to his team, they were very kind and like we say in French « aux petits soins ». Thank you very much for this wonderful experience and night :-)

Amazing food,best customer service in the whole punta cana - cap cana - bavaro and the only good cocktail I've had in this town, such a treat! Already planning my next visit!!!! I wish them nothing but success!!!!!!

Excelente comida! Hice la reservación porque iríamos después a Coco Bongo y nos quedaba aun lado, pero me sorprendió la calidad de los alimentos, el servicio y lo bonito del restaurante. Todo lo que ordenamos estaba delicioso. Sin duda uno de los mejores restaurantes de la zona y seguro repetiremos en estas vacaciones.
