Nestled in the charm and elegance of one of Santa Fe's most beloved historical homes, Santacafé has been a restaurant icon for over 40 years. It was bought in 2019 by Santa Fe restauranteur Quinn Stephenson - the driving force behind another Santa Fe legend, Coyote Café. Santacafe is a solid and consistent option for a business lunch. I had associates come into town today for an important conversation and we had a great experience.

Wine was served before we were half through cocktails. Food was served too soon. We felt rushed

We returned to SantaCafe after 29 years to celebrate our anniversary. We were here 29 years ago and wanted to come back. As expected the restaurant was beautiful and the ambiance was great. But we were disappointed to learn the food quality was not so great. Oysters Rockefeller and pork dumpling appetizers were good. My dinner was pork chop and it was cold. So were my wife’s fries. I felt hurried the whole time being required to place our whole order at once instead of as we wanted. I suggest you go to the sister restaurant Coyote Cafe. No comparison on food quality. Coyote cafe is much better. Overall I give SantaCafe 3 stars.

The staff went out of their way to make my mom’s birthday dinner special! A toast, a little soup (since she didn’t order a first course), and a lovely piece of lemon cake with a wish, completed the meal. We will definitely be back as it is an institution of Santa Fe!

We always enjoy Santacafe. My wife and I shared a lobster roll and an order of French fries both of which were excellent. Pablo our server did a very efficient job. Still one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe.
