   We love Santiago’s for it’s food and have never had cause to complain before now. On this occasion the service was lacking. It was great until we had received our main food then we couldn’t get the waitress to come to us after that so we gave up and went to the bar for the bill. We sat there for quite a long time before giving up and other customers around us did the same thing. We would’ve had dessert and another round of drinks but their loss. My husband caught her eye but she didn’t come near us. It won’t stop us visiting again but I hope they’ll take note

   We had just the most amazing time at this restaurant! The food was oh good quality but still kept the home cooked feeling. Service was quick and attentive. Would recommend to everyone!

   Good value tapas. Gluten free selection too. Service was excellent and wine list was also good value.

   The meal was subpar; the food tasted as though it had been microwaved. The Spanish omelet was dry and lacked flavor, while the paella was soggy, and the chorizo was dry in places, further suggesting microwaving, which is surprising given the open kitchen. The prawns in mushrooms were swimming in old oil; £8.80 for four small prawns and thinly sliced mushrooms in a hot bowl of oil is exorbitant. The overall pricing was excessive, and while the dishes purported to have a Spanish influence, they lacked authentic Spanish taste and presentation. We will not return.

   Been to Santiago’s at least 6 times and never had a bad meal once service is fast efficient and delicious. The setting also great only thing I can think of is maybe add more dishes options to the Tapas menu other than that it always outstanding.

    Staff were friendly and helpful Service very prompt and efficient. Food generally hot and tasty.
