   We went for a birthday celebration as a family and was seated in the same table as another party. I would have appreciated the opportunity to be asked if we mind seated with another party at the same table. Although there was a center piece/flower separating, I found it crowded with the space that we had to eat in. The quality of the food was not aligned with the value that we had to pay. The service staff was okay, but I felt a little rushed as they kept coming to clear out the plates as soon as the last bite was taken. I was disappointed with the whole experience, and unfortunately would not be returning again.

   Nice location and with sophisticated interior design. The service was impeccable. Very mixed feelings about the food. The gyoza was great the dumplings mushy and to big to eat gracefully. The sushi did not look appetizing and was not made with the precision of transitional sushi. It was fresh though. I didn't have the rolls but our guest rated them at 7/10. We found the place way too expensive and won't be returning.

   We did the YYC Exp menu. Food was delicious and seafood was fresh. We also ordered off the regular menu which was equally as delicious.

   This is my third experience with Satsuki. They have all been good. My second trip was with a couple of family members who would regard themselves as knowledgeable about restaurants. The Daughter in Law is a Chef. I eat out a reasonable amount. My steady dining partner mentioned Satsuki when we were considering a choice of places to eat this weekend

   Best hidden Gem for Sushi, it feels like you are in japan. Then there is the food, best sushi in Calgary I would say. Highly recommended!

   Small and intimate setting. Very modern and clean. Few tables and mostly bar seating. We tried the three course YYC Experience and it was fantastic. The scallop carpaccio was fresh and tasty. The king salmon was tender and delicious. And the mochi dessert is out of this world. The server was friendly and attentive. A fantastic dining experience. Will come back.

   The food was amazing! Great value for money, you can tell they use high quality products. Presentation was outstanding as well. We met the chef herself and even though she was busy she was kind enough to answer our questions about the food!

    The kaisandon was amazing - the variety of fish slices (perfectly layered on top) were so fresh. The house-made pickles and soy sauce were a perfect complement to the rice dish too. My friends ordered a salmon rice dish with a unique tea broth which they loved too. We went on a Sunday night, so it wasn't too busy. Parking was a little bit of a challenge though. Will be back one day to try the popular Omakase menu!
