Sawasdee (sah-wah-DEE) is spoken both as a greeting and a farewell. Sawasdee Thai Elevated brings authentic Thai cuisine to Long Island in a setting that is warm, inviting and stylish.
Our founders began their journey in the heart of Thailand. Owner John Conrad met his wife Walailak in Thailand, where she was born and raised. John lived and worked in Thailand for 5 yrs and adored the experience. He looked for a way to bring an authentic Thai cultural experience back to America.
That’s how Sawasdee was born: as a restaurant that combines authentic Thai cuisine with modern dining. Thai food is all about marrying complexity with harmony, Sawasdee aims to continue that tradition.

                                                                                      We throughly enjoyed our pad Thai entrees. The lobster pad Thai special had a lot of lobster meat and there was enough to take home. The chicken pad Thai was delicious as well. This is the best Thai food on Long Island. Service got a little slow when the restaurant got busy, this is why I only gave four stars. They need more servers on a Saturday night. If you are looking for Thai food definitely check it out. Highly recommend.

                                                                                      We had a really nice dinner - red curry, oodles and entrees were all terrific and prepared quickly. Nice drink selection and the service was really attentive. Will be back

                                                                                      Our first time here looking for a Thai place close to home. Very good food, excellent service, lovely modern ambience. We had the curry puffs, spring rolls, Pad Thai and Massamum curry. All were good although the Massamum was a little hotter than I expected. Husband had shrimp and scallops described as mildly spiced but was quite spicy so just take that into account when ordering. Overall a very good experience and will return.

                                                                                      Nice decor, friendly staff, very good food. We had the coconut milk soup, chicken satay, fried calamari, braised short rib massaman curry, grilled prawns. We will definitely return.

                                                                                      We were seated promptly at 7 and waited on by Tyler. The decor, ambiance, wait staff, food, and drinks were all phenomenal. There's ample parking available, and the establishment is quaint and small, making it ideal for dates or small celebrations.
