We strongly encourage you to make your Open Table reservations and we are happy to be able to take care of all of our valuable guests, again. We are Alberta's largest and most beautiful steak house. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse stretches over 20,000 square feet with a seating capacity of over 700 dining room, lounge, banquet room, and patio combined.
This location has built its reputation on the Sawmill formula. Serving over half a dozen different cuts and sizes of Alberta beef one cannot go wrong ordering any one style. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse has become known for many unique qualities and is open daily at 1130am except Sundays when we open at 3pm.

The salmon bowl was delicious as was the chicken cordon bleu . The chocolate dessert was itself delightful experience! Staff were incredible and attentive! Will be back for sure!!

I took my wife here for our anniversary, and it was the best prime rib I’ve ever had. The food was amazing, and the staff was quite friendly and professional.

The service was great. Friendly staff, no rush to order, quite enjoyable. The flavour of the food was good, but... the value of the meals is not so great. One of the dishes I ordered was the SHRIMP, PEA & PANCETTA RISOTTO. What I got barely filled the bottom of the dish/bowl they served it in. Three smaller shrimp on top of the risotto was it. I had more water in my glass than food in the dish. I've seen appetizers that were larger than this Main meal. I will most definitely NOT be going back.

Great place to meet up for lunch to catch up with friends. Noise level is low so you can talk and hear each other. Restaurant was not too busy for a Monday lunch and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Rhonda, our server, was upbeat and had perfect timing on when to pop in to check on us. Both of us had the Cubano sandwich and it was very tasty. My new favourite! I ordered mine with the Brussels sprouts and these are some of the best I’ve had, and they come with a dip which also goes great with the Cubano. My friend hadn’t been here for a long time, and said he’d be returning.

Meal was good. room was not overly busy but we still had to wait for our server to not only bring take out containers once we had asked . We also waited for a few minutes awkwardly for her to bring our bill . Not the dining experience I had been looking forward too.

Service was excellent. The staff is always outstanding. We were seated next to the door on an extremely cold night, and our only issue was that due to a private party, we could not be moved further into the restaurant.

It was overall a very average experience, our sitting was a little late and my reservation that was made 2 months early for a both or privacy was not honoured. The service was just ok, not overly friendly. Ribeye was very tough even though it was cooked perfectly. Your New Years menu on line was a big difference in price and offered more options. The ribeye was $69.95 online and it was 75.95 in house. Lobster tail was 21.95 extra on line and was $29.95 in house. Hope to see some improvements in the future.

Unfortunately my experience today was very disappointing. The items offered and presented on the buffet brought back memories of hospital cafeteria food which would be appealing if you hadn't eaten for some time but not what I had previously experienced at the Sawmill and Moose Factory. I can't say I enjoyed the stale and dried out dinner roles, the cold eggs Benedict, the turkey roll with no stuffing or gravy. The fresh fruit with chocolate fountain and a limited variety of desserts was a pleasant ending to what I would describe as an otherwise unappealing and unappetizing meal. The service by Tenisha was outstanding.
