Scala Osteria offers traditional Southern Italian, seafood-centered recipes meant to be shared with family and friends in our warm and vibrant dining room. Our menu is influenced by the traditional Italian osteria where creating simple yet delicious food is paramount, and our atmosphere is always inviting and full of life. From our beautiful oyster bar to our house-made pastas and Neapolitan style pizzas, we have something for everyone. We offer varying experiences, from folks grabbing a quick bite on their lunch hour, to couples stopping in to delight in our Oyster Bar, to parties spending hours enjoying delicious Southern Italian fare with perfectly paired wines. Sister restaurant to valley favorite, Bistro Don Giovanni, Scala Osteria is located on vibrant First Street in the heart of Downtown Napa. We are open daily for lunch, dinner from 11:30am to 10pm and late night service from 10-11pm.

The food, service and menu were outstanding! Something for everyone and then some. We had Milanese Pork Chop, Cacio e pepe, Chocolate Mousse for dessert-yes we shared!

Amazing experience always! Highly recommend indulging in the daily oyster selection and tuna. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Always great. Didn’t love the table location near the front door with everyone squeezing past and bumping into us. However, the food is so delicious I really can’t complain.

I took 3 Italians who are in Napa interning in the wine business. They were delighted and said it was the first real Italian food they had since arriving in the States. Every dish was delicious and according to my guests, authenic Italian.

Incredible food. Every. Single. Thing! Service was perfect, and friendly too. Ambiance is fairly bright and very convivial. I would say the noise level was high, the music didn’t help. A bit too loud to converse with my guest without talking really too loudly. Fortunately, we had a table in the upstairs loft where it was noticeably quieter. Dinner with 2 entrees, one shared salad, one bottle of bubbles, 2 desserts, and 2 coffees was $250 total. (The bubbles alone were $76). So, be prepared to spend some $$! Overall though, the food and service was worth it. Excellent place for a treat night out!!
