Scarpetta’s name is derived from the familial gesture “Fare la Scarpetta!” an Italian expression that describes the gesture of taking the little boot-shaped piece of bread to soak of the remaining sauce left in the pot of one’s home kitchen. We represent the indulgent pleasure of savoring a meal down to its very last taste! The ambiance can be described as lightly understated. With an elegant approach to design all while simultaneously creating a chic, inviting, and inspiring environment. We have one of the best viewpoints at the Cosmopolitan that overlooks the Las Vegas strip, facing towards the Bellagio fountains. The fountains paired with our sultry mood lighting and smooth Italian classic music in the background, we foster an undeniably, effortless and romantic dining experience.

                  Food was ok not worth the price paid…. vERY rich and smothered in lots of butter so be careful if you have a sensitive stomach! We had the king crab risotto and had a bite of something that tasted like bad crab meat. Overall experience not great. Our server was very nice and friendly.

                  Being a Scarpetta veteran I was so disappointed in their famous spaghetti tomatoes pasta, it was so acidic and over sauced. Not like the original which was perfection. Such a bummer I was so disappointed because I was craving it so much.

                  Lamb tagliatelle special was excellent. Veal chop was great as well. Desserts are works of art, just order the cherry pistachio gelato dessert, wow. Caleb recommended a wonderful super Tuscan. Burke and hostess staff are the best. Thanks for a wonderful dinner.
