Schafer’s Restaurant is making a new home at Eagle Bend. The award-winning Schafer’s Restaurant is set to move into the new Eagle Bend Golf Course Clubhouse this summer. Schafer’s co-owners David May and Robert Wink say they are excited to share familiar favorites with an elevated dining experience.

    We had a wonderful dinner with friends. The 3 mushroom soup on the menu is delicious as well as the appetizers- calamari and hickory smoked pork belly. Salads are great and the menu has quite a great variety of entrees.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and my NY steak was the best I’d ever had. The menu is very good but lacking vegan options. The ambience is typical golf course but the dining room is upscale which was nice. Our server Shannon was excellent. Overall a great experience.

    The service was extremely slow. The food was really average. The reviews online in my opinion are overrated as it relates to the food. The location and ambience was amazing. Extensive wine and Spirit list which is very good. Bottom line, not sure I'll take the effort to go out there again.

    We dine at Schaffer's often. Their service is wonderful, menu is varied to appeal to many tastes, atmosphere is cozy and views of the golf course are great. We are never disappointed.

    We have had a consistently high quality experience each time we've had dinner at Schafer's. It's our go to restaurant for a perfect evening in Bigfork.

    Excellent food, service,cocktails, wine list and ambiance! We live in the area a d now it is our favorite go to for any occasion. Or just go for a cocktail and appetizer at the bar. Wonderful staff and superb food!!

    We waited an hour and a half for our food. The restaurant clearly overbooked for the amount of kitchen staff. Plenty of servers available. Others were served before us that arrived later. Very poorly run for an upscale restaurant.
