Michelin-starred chef Eduard Frauneder's newest restaurant, Schilling, is located in NYC's Financial District. With a name that nods to the surrounding neighbourhood and the former Austrian currency, Schilling will offer a day-to-night bistro that features chef Frauneder's contemporary take on Austrian classics, this time with a Mediterranean touch.

    My friends and I all agree that this is one of the best Thanksgiving dinner experiences we have had in New York. Interesting variety of food, and all of it was delicious and carefully planned to complement the tastes and textures. Lovely service and atmosphere. For the generous three-course meal we thought the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this place.

    This is our second year enjoying Thanksgiving dinner at Schilling. It is so good, so flavorful, and so beautifully presented that I can’t imagine ever cooking again at home!

    Schnitzel superb! Generous slice of thin tender pork perfectly battered and fried. Broccolirini not so good. Batter coating is thick and gooey. Partially cooked leaving a heavy mess. The staff are very professional and nice to talk to.

    The ambiance was warm and friendly. The meatballs with the sauce were soft and succulent. I would recommend Schilling’s for a night out with friends and family.

    My go to in lower Manhattan has authentic schnitzel with lingonberries if you like Austrian cuisine it’s terrific and the interior is also low key and casually simple. Also wine and beer is very good
