   While the staff are lovely, friendly, helpful, and polite, and the environment is pictureque and pretty; the food choices were very mediocre and not very exciting. Nothing simple for lunch (no easy foods like sandwiches, jacket pot or salad); just very large plates of food or small underwheling starters. Why can't we have the breakfast menu (eggs) for lunch? Won't be going again for lunch as the food choice was uninspiring

   We ordered a meal that was wrong and had to be sent back. By the time it came out correctly the rest of us had finished our lunch and not even an apology was given. Poor service and poor food! Wouldn’t return

   No manager on shift. Service slow. Forgot starters. Bar staff not trained to make cocktails. Food left beside open door and was luke warm before served.

   The restaurant has bags of potential but is not fulfilling any of it. The restaurant was close to empty on arrival at 8pm. The food was inedible and the cocktails were grim. Definitely don’t rush there unless you are after coffee and the padron peppers

   No atmosphere Service engaging and unimpressive Website unclear that brunch menu was unavailable after 11.30. However they did allow us at 11.45 to use it The food was not presented well and very boring looking for what it cost. They also used random bread rather than the menu said sour dough. And to cap it all my daughter who is allergic to dairy could not get her tomatoes or mushrooms cooked in oil. Apparently they have to be cooked in butter!

   Stunning place, the food is nice but nothing special, coffees not brilliant if you're a coffee snob. The staff could be a tad friendlier. Its worth it for the place though.

   We were booked for a birthday dinner, however on arrival, was made aware that the menu had been reduced to a few items, Appreciate that there has been a new chef introduced, but then it was expect the limited items to be amazing. Overall extremely disappointed

    Beautiful venue, great food and excellent and attentive staff. I can't fault any of that. Food is a little on the pricey side for what you get would be my only quibble.
