We ordered coffee and were pleasantly surprised to receive French press. To start, we opted for the three-tier appetizer, which featured the most delicious crab cakes I’ve ever tasted, and I’m usually not a fan of crab cakes. The scallops were incredibly tender as well. My husband enjoyed a steelhead entrée accompanied by asparagus and mashed potatoes, while I chose a Caesar salad topped with fresh Dungeness crab. We were both delighted with our dishes and even enjoyed sampling each other’s. This was our second visit, and I have no doubt we’ll return for a third. We dined on Black Friday, expecting a bustling scene with Bellevue Square shoppers, but to our delight, arriving at noon meant we were seated promptly with minimal crowds. They also offer parking validation, which is a nice bonus.

Won’t be coming here again. The food is ok, Salmon is farmed but at least our server was honest about that. My beef is with the drinks, $4 for an egg used in a whiskey sour ? $4? Then another $22 for the actual drink which lacked any alcohol in the puddle of a mini martini glass it was served in. The extra $4 for an egg was never mentioned until the bill came. The price for dinner here is very far removed from any value, even by Bellevue standards.

Great experience as usual. Service impeccable and food excellent. Only small gripe is the noise level. It’s very loud in the restaurant which could do with some sound dampening panels

Food was great sea bass and king salmon perfectly prepared. Service was very pleasant. Highly recommend.

We had the steelhead once before. It was fantastic then, not so much this time. Otherwise everything was great. I do wish more people would adhere to the business casual dress code. People in shorts and sweatpants don’t fit in.

I’ve been to Seastar many times over the years, and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s a wonderful restaurant, for a nice dinner out or a celebration. I look forward to my next visit.

This is one of our favorite resturants!!! Food is absolutely delicious and consistent, ambiance is great as is the service. 20% gratuity is added which they deserve but why before tax? Paying tax of gratuity too?

I can't say enough about how great our dinner was at Seastar. I had a group of 9 work colleagues for dinner and the service was impressive. We never had an empty drink! Water glasses were filled constantly. We ordered the seafood tower which was delicious. You get a taste of everything. I will be dreaming about my blood orange scallops forever. Desserts were unique and delicious. Thank you!!!

Seastar is still providing elevated dining and exceptional service after more than 20 years in Bellevue. Manager Michelle and server Alana were awesome! Halibut ceviche, Sea Scallops with blood orange, and Hawaiian Opaka paka were all outstanding. The wine list is second to none and Seastar is hitting all the high notes more than two decades after putting Bellevue on the fine dining map. Cheers to you!
