Selene Aegean Bistro is the newest venture from the family that brought you the Michelin guide recommended Nammos Estiatorio.
“We're incredibly excited to introduce Selene to the Hastings-Sunrise neighborhood,” said Yianni Kerasiotis, co-owner of Selene. “Our vision is to create a unique, elevated dining experience for this city. Selene will be Greek cuisine with an exciting blend of culinary influences from all across the Aegean coast."
Selene's menu features locally sourced seafood and dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of the Aegean region, with many exciting twists. Guests are encouraged to order a range of dishes from our extensive menu selection, which are best shared family-style. In addition to the sophisticated fare, Selene will boast a curated beverage program, highlighting handcrafted cocktail, and Greek, Spanish and local wines.

Very thankful for accommodating to my group we were quite late to start. Did the tasting menu - worth it! Would come back to try more. Thanks again to the server I forgot her name but she did amazing on her first day. :)

Fantastic food and great service! Will definitely be back and highly recommend getting the Brisket Stifado and Octopus. Orange Almond Cake was also lovely -- nice delicate orange flavour and not too sweet

Had a fantastic dining experience at Selene. Our server made great recommendations for both food and beverage and the overall experience was wonderful. Stand out dish for me was the mussels with green olive focaccia although we also had the octopus, lamb ribs and patatas; all of which were delicious. We capped off the night with the orange almond cake, which was incredibly tasty, with just the right amount of sweetness to it. Would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning and trying more of the menu.

Delicious food & wine, our waitresses were lovely! It’s quite loud but that’s expected. Had a great time!

The ambiance, service, and location were incredible. The food and drinks were amazing and they offer a good variety of Mediterranean dishes. We were a bit disappointed in the octopus with black ink Orzo, but understand the challenging task of creating dishes that stay true to their roots, and offer a good portion of food that your customers will enjoy. Overall 9/10

The food and vibe were perfect, the best Greek salad I’ve ever had! Service was great and the overall feeling was very relaxed and cozy. Highly recommended.

Last night, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Selene, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, the ambience transported us straight to a charming Mediterranean country. The decor was thoughtfully curated, with warm lighting, rustic furniture, and soft Mediterranean music that set the perfect mood for a relaxed dinner. Now, let’s talk about the food—it was nothing short of amazing! Each dish we ordered was bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly seasoned, and presented beautifully. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the care taken in preparing each dish was commendable. However, I did feel that the portions were a bit smaller than expected, especially given how delicious everything was. But the exceptional taste more than made up for it. From the creamy hummus and freshly baked pita to the savory Keema and delightful Salmon, every bite was a treat. Their dessert was the perfect finish, with the baklava base standing out as a highlight. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving Mediterranean flavors in a setting that feels straight out of Greece or Turkey. While I wish the portions were slightly more generous, the superb taste and delightful ambience made it a truly memorable evening for my family and me.
