   We came here for my sister’s birthday and it was our first time eating at Selva and we were blown away. The drinks and food were 10/10 delicious, so beautifully thought out and plated and the flavors were amazing. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great.

   Food was absolutely delicious. We were there to celebrate a birthday and it was a perfect evening in every respect. Natalia was our server and she couldn’t have been nicer. One of our party cannot eat gluten due to celiac. Natalia was very well versed on which items were safe to serve her, but was careful to double check on a couple. Restaurant was not very crowded. All in all a wonderfully special evening.

   This was the best dinner we have had in the past year. The service was excellent. The food presentation was beautiful and the timing was perfect.

   Pretty good food. Not as good as the old days with just the one place downtown. Ceviche shrimp good. Skirt steak also good. Paella risotto too much rice. Nog enough seafood. Shrimp quality just ok. Mussels good. Will look elsewhere next time I think

   It was a little cold in Sarasota last night and they sat us outside, I did not ask to be seated there but went along with it. I eventually asked them to seat inside since we were the ONLY people sitting outside and it was very uncomfortable with the cold and all the noise from the traffic. My husband is huge on old fashions and we should have known to leave when his drink wasn’t good. How can you mess up 3 ingredients? My braised short ribs was good BUT the risotto was room temperature. My husband ordered the filet mignon with chimichuri which had ZERO flavor. I’ve never had anything with chimichuri that bland. The staff though was great!

   Service was great. Sad that the took the duck confit samosa off the menu but food was delicious.

   Had a great experience here! We had a birthday lunch. The service was attentive and welcoming, The food was well-prepared, with the fried calamari standing out as my favorite very crispy and flavorful, ceviche was good. I also loved the passion fruit Pisco Sour; it was balanced, refreshing, and delicious. The ambiance was warm and elegant,creating a great atmosphere for dining. Plus, lots of parking. Overall, a solid spot for good food and drinks, and I’d definitely return!
