   We came to Selvins as two couples with one person in our group having dined at Selvins previously. The ambiance was warm and inviting and each area was unique and interesting. We ordered cocktails which were all amazing and well enjoyed by each diner. We had the focaccia bread, roasted cauliflower, arancini, and ceviche as shared appetizers. The kale salad was next and each couple shared an entree, which was a good idea because all servings were very generous and easy to share across 4 diners. Our server, Mike was outstanding, had a great attitude, explained all our options and provided wonderful suggestions. His information about the specials convinced us to order the salmon and the burger - both excellent choices. By sharing we were able to share two desserts, carrot cake and the affogato with hazelnut gelato. Both were delicious choices. Would definitely return and want to try the bar next time as it is lively and beautiful.

   Great food and service! They also gave my Mom free vanilla and chocolate and vanilla ice cream with a lit candle for her 81st birthday! We ended up singing “Happy Birthday!” to my Mom! This is a wonderful place!!! Please go here and try it for yourselves!!

   I ordered a Bloody Mary, and it was the most tasteless Bloody Mary I have ever had, not to mention the smallest I’ve ever had and at a price of $15.00. Too small and overpriced

   beautiful restaurant , very loud , especially when the singer took a break and piped music came on. Service excellent , staff friendly, considerate and kind and attentive . Staff still trying to master pace and timing of meal. Everything came out quickly , so you could feel a bit rushed . Excellent cocktails . Encrusted sea bass marginal, lobster bisque very good. dessert ok. we had the red velvet cake and berry tart.

   The decor for Valentine’s Day was top tier. Honestly, surprised at the lengths they had gone to make the place romantic. Our server Mac was super attentive even with a full house. The food was yummy. My girlfriend loved it so I guess that’s all that really matters.

   i took a date here yesterday, food was flavorful, i would say a 7.5/10. once done waiter asked to box up our food and we said yes, got dessert, paid, and never saw our food packaged to go. there were couple drinks ordered so we were having a good time and didn’t notice until we got home that THERE WAS NO LEFTOVERS :(. edit: they have made up for their wrong doings and i will be returning here for more!!

   This was our second visit to Selvin’s. Our first experience was much better. The service was severely lacking for a high end restaurant that was not operating close to capacity. We had to ask whether there were any specials not in the menu. The soup arrived lukewarm yet the server warned about the hot plate. Our salad plate and soup bowl were left on the table after our entrees were served and remained almost until we were done dining. A beverage refill was brought for one of us without asking, the other was never asked if a refill was desired. The food, aside from the soup, was pretty good. However, the service issues would make us rethink visiting here again. There are just too many good dining options to settle for a mediocre experience.

    Great food and great place. Service was slow and it was not very busy. Staff was friendly, doesn’t seem like management is aware of service speeds.
