    Thursdays from 8PM - 11PM Sempre Oggi welcomes David Kastin, who has been a DJ in New York for over 30 years, for a curated set from his personal record collection. I bought my first record in 1975. It was Aerosmith’s debut album. Ever since then I have had a love affair with vinyl. It all started with early 70’s rock, then into the late 70’s I was collecting disco ala Studio 54. Next was punk/post punk new wave and my collection grew significantly. In the late 80’s I discovered an old school NYC dance party DJed by none other than David Mancuso called The Loft and it changed my life. The Loft exposed me to so much music, one could hear almost anything from disco to funk, soul, house and rock and post punk it was so eclectic and inspiring

    The food is excellent. Space is very pretty- bright and open. It was a Tuesday night so pretty quiet but know weekends get very busy. Service was a bit slow- seem short staffed.

    From the confirmation call to the attention to detail, from the food to the service, Sempre Oggi never missed a beat. Great find, great location. Will be back!

    Service is VERY attentive and for me it raises a restaurant’s value more than anything. Makes one feel at home. This can be a neighborhood staple where the food or ambience may not be spectacular but the service is top notch.

    I had another delicious dinner at Sempre Oggi tonight. I had a tasty green salad and the amazing branzino with capers. I had two glasses of white wine selected by my perfect server.

    Excellent food, wine, service, and ambience. The pasta entrees were especially amazing, This is a spacious, beautifully designed restaurant, and we didn't feel crowded, even though every table was full around us. We happily will return and recommend to friends/family.

    Sempre Oggi was a very nice surprise! Food was wonderful, service was great. We will be going back. Upper West Side needs more restaurants like this.

    I’m not sure if we just came in on an off night but the drinks were weak, the service was slow and the pasta tasted like it came from a box.
