   Nice restaurant. Badly needed civilized spot on UWS. Pricey but so is everywhere. Excellent, friendly service, very good food, not too noisy. The latter phenomenon is almost impossible to find around here so i hope they thrive. Will return.

   I just had a delicious meal at Sempre Oggi! I started with a mixed green salad then had the delicious halibut. I had two glasses of tasty white wine. My server Michael was perfect in every way. And if all of that isn't enough, the restaurant is quiet!

   The food was great, and our waiter was very pleasant. But we weren't seated until about 25 minutes after our reservation time, and even though we let them know that we had tickets to a post-dinner show (2 hours after our reservation time), we were left waiting with empty plates and a credit card out after we finished eating. We'd return, but not if we had anywhere to be after our meal.

   The food was delicious- really wonderful- but sadly the service was not. We had a very early reservation so the place was not yet crowded. Our server really encouraged the four of us to get an additional entree [ we ordered two salads and two pastas to split]. We agreed. She reviewed the entire order with us, not once but twice. After the salads and a pretty long wait, someone brought over 2 of the 3 entrees we ordered. We said we were missing one and he went off to inquire. 15 minutes later, no third entree. We had now finished the two entrees and needed to head off to our show. So we asked another server to cancel the third entree that never showed up. Our original server came over and seemed confused that we had never gotten the third entree. No apology- just confusion. The manager came over and said something to the effect of, "I"m not sure where the disconnect was here" - I don't know either but I know it wasn't on our side. Our server arrives and apologizes, and tells us she will remove the third entree from our bill. Yes, you didn't ever bring it so of course we are not paying for it. She drops the check. We ask her 1/2, 1/4 and 1/4 and show her which card is the 1/2. She splits it 1/3 each- we say no we just asked you to so 1/2; 1/4; 1/4. She says it will take a few minutes to void and do it again. We are now almost last for our show so one of us just pays the whole thing. The manager again comes over to give us his business card. I'm not sure what we were supposed to do with that, truthfully. Bottom line, even though the food that was served was absolutely delicious, we won't be returning.

   Excellent food and drinks. Strong portion size. Cacio e pepe a bit salty. Amazing service - Miguel was an absolute crowd pleaser. Knowledgeable, accommodating, funny, great recommendations. He is enough reason to come back!

   We had a wonderful time at Sempre Oggi. The food was fresh and delicious, and our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The staff went out of their way to help us celebrate a special occasion, and we will definitely be back.

   Much needed addition to UWS. Elegant but casual, lovely food and good service. Criticism: The wine pours are very stingy, music needs refining (strange Italian pop opera rock not so great) - DJ and turntable to do not fit the vibe and seem a little tacky. But I think they are still figuring out their identity and working out the glitches.

   Wanted to really like this place, but it’s just falling short in a lot of areas…service doesn’t match the decor/vibe. Other than continuously trying to clear out plates when we weren’t finished eating, or taking our plates and silverware before we could finish eating our salads, the real kicker was when we (discreetly and politely) told the server we saw a mouse and they said “yeah, it’s New York City. This mouse comes out every night. Probably because it’s quiet.” If you are knowingly aware of a mouse on your premises, then solve the problem.

    Food was fabulous, but we did have to wait past our dining time to get seated. It was extremely busy. All the individuals in my party ordered pasta. If you do order the pasta keep in mind that they aren’t full main entrée size, but the classic Italian primi size. We were celebrating a birthday in our party, and the weight staff was extremely attentive to that.
