   10/10 would recommend. We went here for my mother-in-laws birthday dinner and we all said we would be back. Our server Elizabeth was great, she explained the menu to us throughly and she handled our large table with ease. Esp with two wild toddlers. The food, god the food was amazing. We all had separate dishes and not one of us were disappointed in what we got. My husband and I have already said this will be our next date night spot.

   “Our first visit was on Valentine’s Day 2025; so we understand it was a very busy day, and certain factors may have been beyond their control, such as overcrowding, impatient guests waiting for their reservations, staff shortages, and more.” Service: Our waitress, Elizabeth, was very helpful and friendly. She always served with a smile and was attentive to our needs. Food: We started with the Venezuelan sampler, but we were served two cheese empanadas instead of one chicken and one beef, as we expected. Additionally, they were quite greasy. The rest of the sampler was good. The steak cachapa had very little meat (only two small pieces). The churrasco arepa was not the best experience; the cut of meat had too many tough fat pieces, making it almost inedible. The chicken pabellón was acceptable but not particularly impressive. The fried pork, from the cochino frito Plato on the other hand, was a success. The meat was tender on the inside, crispy on the outside, and well-seasoned. I liked it. Drinks: The house cocktails were good. We tried the passion fruit sangria (Parchita sangria), the Venezuelan mojito, the soursop martini (guanabana martini), another one with guava called El guayabo/guayabera, and the Venezuelan Old Fashioned (Viejo Caraqueño). We also ordered mango and passion fruit juices. Price: The price is quite high, though I understand that St. Matthews is an exclusive area in Louisville. However, considering the portion size and the quality of the food, it still feels expensive. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and we plan to give it another chance during the summer season.

   Confusing menu. Seems very expensive overall. The atmosphere is beautiful, but unfortunately, the menu is too large and confusing.

   Great food! Great drinks! I think the drinks are too small for the price though. Make them larger and instead of 14 charge 18. Otherwise the drinks we had should be 8.00

   The food is outstanding. Our waitress explained the menu completely and offered some of her favorites. Her choices were great. Energy is high and so is the noise level. Great restaurant.

   The churrasco arepa’s were delicious and the cilantro garlic sauce was delicious. Great portion sizes! The waitress was incredibly welcoming and helpful when reviewing the menu. We loved the mojitos as well. We will be back.

   Amazing experience for our first time at Señora Arepas!! Food and drinks were delicious , staff was lovely! All food was out in a timely manner. Restaurant was adorable!!

    We had a great dinner experience with our friends. The food and service was amazing, the atmosphere was fun and lively. Really cool place. We'll definitely be back.
