   We were celebrating our second honeymoon and the maître d greeted us with sparkling wine for the occasion . Unfortunately, while we were there, they had an emergency in the kitchen, which disabled their ability to cook anything. So we were limited to cold or Crudo things from the menu. Everything was excellent. The restaurant did everything they could to make things right since the ability to cook anything was gone. They even arranged a table at a private club near by for us if we wished to leave due to the circumstances. We ultimately decided to stay and we were so happy we did . The maître d(Manuel ), waiter(Mark) , bus staff(Rudy) could not have been better. We had a wonderful time despite the limitations and will be back. Truly, a customer focused place that did everything they could to make sure we had a lovely time.

   Brett was awesome! Talked a little fast but really got the job done and we knew all the things on the menu. Chocolate espresso martini and the passion star drinks were our favorite. For food, get the shrimp! So good. And the ceviche and chocolate gelato were great.

   Gorgeous view. Lovely upscale environment. Prices are high making it tough for food and drink to meet expectations.

   Took an hour and a half to get our food, waitress ignored our table for at least 40 min, then when the food arrived we were told my son’s order wasn’t available. Meanwhile we watched the tables around us get served. Only after multiple complaints did a manager apologize and comp us a portion of our tab. But for a $500 meal, this was not what we expected from the Hotel Del.
