Unique dining experience in North Portland introduces a distillery and bar-restaurant all in one location. Shine Distillery & Grill is the first of its kind in Oregon. Our support-local philosophy extends through our menu offerings that include Oregon craft spirits, beer and wine and throughout our entire space. While dining you can't miss the eye-catching copper and steel 135-gallon custom crafted still - created in Portland, Oregon.

Whenever possible, we source our ingredients local and fresh. We're serving you traditional, yet elevated, American pub fare. We're Portland. We have roots. You'll find vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, and gluten free options. We aren't creating art-food—we're feeding you good eats.

Shine Spirits currently made in-house include our Northwest Vodka, Batch One Gin, Centennial Gin, Straight Bourbon Whiskey and our newly released Shine Spirits Blue Agave. Shine Spirits bottle sales on-site.

Had a professional lunch meeting here with a large group. The place was perfect, from size to menu options to price and service. I will definitely be back!

Staff was overwhelmed by another very very large group gathering. Service took forever for both drinks and food. We had our finance guy count all the money and waitress told us we were short. We all added in more money just to get out of there. The food was good and of good value but they made up for that on the drinks.

Loved Shine! The service was great, the food was delicious, the space is fabulous. The spirits are wonderful too! We will be back.

Fun, friendly restaurant/bar that had several surprises. The appetizers were tasty and it is was refreshing to try something different. Great chicken nuggets (probably the best in pdx) ! They are new , but the staff is friendly and the food is good - check them out if you are in the area.

spirits were not what we expected. Service was good but she was not knowledgeable about the menu. Wings were not crisp enough, bacon on the eggs was not crisp enough. Horseradish was not hot. We were really excited to come tonight but was a bit disappointed.

This restaurant ruined my birthday. The atmosphere was terrible, the service was slow and rude, everyone was charged 18% gratuity for “large party” which according to the restaurant is 8+ when I had 7 guests at my table. Drinks here are awful and overpriced even on happy hour and even a simple bay breeze was awful and made incorrectly. We asked to split the tabs separate and the waitress rolled her eyes. Noted it was my birthday in my reservation and the host said “happy birthday” upon entering but the waitress was disrespectful, cold to our warm jokes, and this establishment doesn’t offer any dessert for birthdays either (not that I’m mad for that exact reason though, it was everything else). Food was dry beyond compare I thought I was doing the damn cinnamon challenge. Burger bun was dry, pretzel was dry, and popcorn chicken tasted worse than KFC. wanted to support a local business by coming here and it was a complete nightmare.

I had an old fashioned with their bourbon and it was spectacular. Food was exceptional as well. Will be back for sure.
