the table that was offered was for 2 people but too near another table back of chairs would have met no privacy so was offered another table but was cold by window but more room food took too long chips warm too expensive for what we had

Very quite not a lot of people dining. Not a very nice Sunday lunch that potatoes were so overdone that could not even cut them. The pork was a chop and the chicken was dry. I only ate the beef which was really nice. Overall The whole 5x meals overdone. I did complain which fell on death ears which a quite sorry was their response. Me and family will not be going back to eat anytime soon.

Great pub staff all warm and welcoming and went for lunch 6 of us and something for everyone. Can even add for £1 glass wine with lunch menu which was a bonus Food was cooked beautifully

We always had an excellent meal at the ship but when we attended this time we felt the meal and service was not to their normal standard. Poor choices for vegetarians were only offered a pudding that the pastry was under cooked. And seasonal veg was peas and carrots

Absolutely terrible meal the roast beef was tough and the vegetables were over cooked and cold . The owner was rude when we arrived not at all welcoming would never recommend and certainly won't be dining or having a drink in there.. Completely ruined my Mother's Day for my elderly mum

Lovely roast dinner the beef was so tender, only bad point the vegetables were hard .

Staff are so lovely and polite but Service is always so slow. Food was okay Very noisy considering there wasn’t many people in there. Lots of people have been drinking all afternoon I think unfortunately I think maybe reserve a restaurant for people eating only and not let people sit there, just drinking people wanna come out for a nice meal and not want it to be spoilt by drunk people
