   Love the decor table placement and the large white napkins for your lap- food was good and flavorful. Drinks good, shareable good portions as not to spoil your meal and yummy deserts. Attentive staff and servers - will go again when in Petersburg

   Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Melissa our server was very personable. Shrimp and sausage and salmon were excellent. Dining room is beautiful. Tables are well spaced. Although located in the Hotel Petersburg, Shirley's is definitely not your typical hotel restaurant. If there’s one complaint, it's that all the convenient parking, including on street, seems to be reserved for valet parking.

   Sunday Jazz Brunch Very classy ambiance, fantastic jazz musician Buffet menu, everything was delicious, favorite was the bread pudding! Nice to see the renovation of the Hotel and talk with the staff about the history of the Shirley restaurant. Fun time!

   The food and service was exemplary. We did a dinner special for the after Valentine’s Day celebration to avoid the packed day. The ambiance was great and food was excellent. And we discovered the hotel also has a nice and quaint speakeasy which the service was great as well. We would return again.

   Wonderful experience, great new spot for the area. Only negative was the timing on drinks from the bar but it wasn’t all that bad.

    This historic hotel in Petersburg, VA has been lovingly restored. Shirley’s offers a delicious dining experience from craft cocktails to 7 layer coconut cake. The three of us very much enjoyed every bite. Great service. Classic old school hotel atmosphere complete with basement speakeasy, The Boiler Room. Reasonable prices. Guaranteed return.
