Drawing on Turkish heritage and tradition, Shish’s ethos is borne out of a desire to create a hub as the heart of the home, centred around the fire hearth where cooking and families come together and share in the occasion. Excellent evening in Shish. The food and staff were excellent and they even accommodated for vegans with delicious option. Would definitely recommend

Great evening alll round , a really great restaurant clean and with great atmosphere . The food was outstanding , we ordered grilled Haloumi & Hummus starters served with olives & breads and then Fillet Mignon steaks with Cajun chips & grilled vegetables with a choice of sauces .. the steak was cooked to perfection , tasted so good . A busy restaurant and some of the other dishes coming out to surrounding tables also looked amazing and mouth watering . The service was first class from the staff , polite , pleasant & attentive. Well done to all , our first time at Shish but it will not be our last . Also for the quality of food served very reasonable regards to price for the meal .

Excellent experience! The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. We had lunch here, and all four of us are eager to come back. The service was also very attentive. We really had a great time at Shish!

Came in on a busy Saturday night and the place was packed. Service was good for the amount of people. Food took awhile but was delicious once received! Would go back.

Lovely surroundings with comfortable seating and busy atmosphere. Great choices of food and the alcohol free drinks we're surprisingly very tasty and refreshing. Tavuk Pirzola and Beyti Lamb Kebab were original and highly recommended although looking around the Mixed Grill Platter seemed the most popular choice in the restaurant with its heated metal serving dish. Been in Edinburgh for a few days and this was the best food experience we've had.

Service was very good, ambiance was great, we ordered Mix Grill and Humus which was very tasty. Overall a very nice experience, we will definitely go again.
