   My family and I were staying at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and booked their Thanksgiving Dinner buffet and it was totally worth it! The service at the Shor restaurant is very friendly and the buffet had exceptional variety, with a whole room just for desserts. There was lots to choose and enjoy from. Definitely a must have Thanksgiving experience to have with your family and friends and I’m so glad I booked it!

   One of the best Thanksgiving dinner buffets we have been to. Food was outstanding and our table outside was perfect with a great view of the beach and sunset. Great variety of food offerings from fresh gulf oysters, crab legs and sushi to the traditional turkey and sides. We drove in from Houston for a hockey tournament, but would drive back for this meal and experience anytime.

   Booked for our family of 4 on Thanksgiving Day 2024. The food featured in the buffet was outstanding. From the colossal oysters, crab legs and shrimp to the expertly prepared turkey with all the trimmings , beef tenderloin, tables of side dishes and appetizers, and a whole room dedicated to desserts , the food was incredibly good. The view of palm trees and the gulf was amazing but the setting sun and the proximity of our table caused sun glare and there was not ample curtains to alleviate that. Service was pleasant but not well organized. The overall experience was great in spite of the very few inconveniences and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

   I was extremely upset due to the fact that when I called to confirm my reservation, no one mentioned that it was a buffet only, neither did anyone mentioned the per person price. We were a party of 6 and to be blindsided like that made for an unpleasant beginning to our first experience at Shor American Seafood Grill. We were stuck since it was Thanksgiving and there was little chance of getting in somewhere else. The good: the food was plentiful with a lot of variety. Everyone in our party found something that they could enjoy. The waitstaff was very attentive, friendly and fairly efficient. They were not the problem so we did not dispute or complain about the added 18% gratuity. Plus, an added gratuity is pretty standard on bigger parties. The food was decent overall. Some things were done very well: the crab legs, the tenderloin with gravy, the pimiento mac and cheese...just to name a few. The desserts were meh and tasted like day old supermarket pastries. The ice cream bar was a nice touch. Mixed cocktails were overpriced at $18/cocktail. But, anyone who's been in the restaurant business knows cocktails are where you make the money.

   We had a delicious Thanksgiving buffet, and everybody was really helpful and pleasant. Our waiter was super nice and brought us our drinks right away. Really good variety of food and desserts to choose from and nice views. I would recommend for a stress-free Thanksgiving.

   The experience was overall fantastic, but considering the variety of options available to choose from, the price point might be better suited at around $70 per adult. Adjusting the cost to reflect the selection would make it even more appealing.
