   The staff were very overwhelmed with the amount of people that were there on a Saturday Night. Regardless of reservation, there was a 40 minute wait. The server wasn’t even present until we reminded them we existed. We also had difficulties ordering because they kept being taken away to answer questions from other staff members during the order. It was very difficult. The food was great but some of the seafood was overcooked which was disappointing. There was some things that lacked seasoning though and were a bit bland such as the rice.

   We recently visited The Shrimp Shack in Camden to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcomed and ensured everything was perfect for our celebration. The service was impeccable, and the food? Absolutely out of this world. We ordered the SS Boil Platter, and let me just say, we are still drooling and dreaming about it days later. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it was the perfect centerpiece for a special occasion. My son loved it so much that he’s already declared he wants to return here for every birthday—and even bring his own kids someday when he has them. Now that’s a testament to how amazing this place is! I’ve also visited The Shrimp Shack before with my girlfriends, and it’s equally fantastic for social outings. Whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying quality family time, this spot has the perfect vibe and menu to suit any occasion. Highly recommend The Shrimp Shack for anyone looking for delicious seafood, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back!

   The employees seemed to lack experience. My friend had steak, she asked for well done. She realised the steak was not well done after one bite. She addressed it. They took it away, it appears that instead of giving her a new steak, they had deep fried the original steak and put it back on the plate. Didn’t seem like the right health choices. I went for seafood and for no mussels was given mussels had to be sent back. The seafood wasn’t great!! I have had better. There was no option for flavours for the seasoning and overwhelming for the seasoning they did have. The sauce was a thick cream base. I enjoyed the corn. Wouldn’t go again.
