   Amazing experience at Shu. The food was full of flavour and plenty of it. Great value and fresh, delicious ingredients - highly recommend!

   Sorely disappointed with the all you can eat Yum Cha The mocktails were sickly sweet & lacked anything fresh The food was either dry, hard or strangely combined We won’t be returning

   We were very excited to take our mother for yum cha for her birthday and ended up disappointed. The food was underwhelming. It tasted like a lot of the dishes were frozen and microwaved just before serving. Several items on the menu were different from what was advertised online on their website, and the dishes that were the same looked different from the photos. The pace of service was so slow, we would eat a tiny morsel and then wait ten minutes for the next course, despite it being “bottomless”, we left still a bit hungry. The one dish we enjoyed the most, they ran out of when we requested more. It seemed strange that there was no dessert. When we went to pay, the server verbally asked if we wanted to tip, which was an awkward interaction. Overall, not worth the money.

   We really loved the food, well 3 out of five dishes were totally yum the other 2…just ok! Service was excellent and drinks delish! Thanks guys and ladies in kitchen!

   Shu has delivered again. The MuSHUroom series is a must t try. Looking forward to the third one - bring on Summer Series.

   We dined for the special mushroom tasting menu. Food was interesting however some of the flavours were muddled with a couple of the dishes in the tasting menu being hit and miss. Nice staff and good cocktails. If you are vegan and want a tasting menu I’d give it a try! Good value even if the dessert was not wonderful.

   I absolutely love the food that Shu creates. The unlimited yum cha was just delicious. I’m amazed at his creations and flavours. It was my 3rd time at his restaurant but first time having his yum cha and I can’t wait to go back. If you haven’t been to Shu yet, please go and experience his plant-based food!!    Came here on recommendation for a date night. Food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance is shabby chic, however it is a confusing mix of modern contemporary with a hipster element. Wait staff walk around in all white - many of them weren't very friendly providing a "stand offish" service manner which seemed quiet cool. The bartender Alex was the shining light - he was super friendly, went above and beyond and was really interested in giving great customer service. It was a busy Saturday night and the degustation took almost 3 hours. Some courses came out within a few minutes of each other - others there was a 30 min wait. The food itself again was delicious, flavoursome and really interesting mixes - really unique. Glad I tried this on recommendation

    Amongst the eclectic and exciting details of it’s decor, Shu Restaurant provides an excellence in hospitality. Their customer service was wonderful with the staff greeting us with a warm welcome and maintaining that warmth and attention to detail throughout the evening. The presentation of every dish and how it was delivered to the table was greatly appreciated. The fusion of flavours was delicate but didn’t fail to make our tastebuds sing with joy. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Shu and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a luxurious adventure into plant based cuisine. I have dined here before and they never fail to impress our guests. I will certainly be back for more enjoyable meals!
