The food at Siena was good; however the service needs work. We sat before the table beside us and their drink orders were taken first. Then when our waiter took our drink [and food] order, he didn’t out the order in; our appetizers came out before drinks - he forgot. There was minimal attention from the waiter throughout the evening as well. Furthermore, the NYE package said each guest to receive complementary bubbles upon arrival. There weren’t any. When I approached the manager to inform him at the end of the night of the misrepresentation, he wasn’t aware that was an option, claiming they have a marketing team that does work for them, while then also proceeding to point to a warm bottle of champagne sitting on a high top, in the corner, behind the hostess desk. Throughout the convo, he got defensive when I shared feedback while also not taking any responsibility for the feedback. Good food, but service not great. Likely won’t return, unfortunately - both are important to us when dining and spending the money Siena was asking for.

Maybe the nicest, most solicitous staff in town, which helps elevate the entire experience. Food was very good to excellent (in particular the Barolo braised beef ragout on expertly made homemade pasta) but the wine list is very small and doesn’t really do the food justice. Fantastic bartender though, who conjures up some great cocktails. We’ll be back again.

I just love this restaurant. I have gone numerous times and it never disappoints. The pasta is homemade! Food is absolutely delicious and the service is fantastic.

When I made our reservation, I asked for a table in a quiet area, so we could converse easily with our guests. However, we were placed next to a large group (10 people) celebrating a birthday. They were extremely loud and made it uncomfortable for our table to communicate without yelling at one another! The acoustics in the restaurant should be improved to moderate the noise level! On the other hand, the food was excellent (as always), the service was very good and the decor is very attractive. I only wish that the noise level could be reduced! That would make for a much more enjoyable experience!

The food and service at Siena were very good and we had an enjoyable time. My only negative commentary is that the salmon portion was a little small and the chairs are very uncomfortable! They are very deep so anyone under 5’5 can not sit back on them if you want your feet to reach the floor. And the lack of lower back support meant that my friend and I (our spouses are taller but also found them uncomfortable) had to request back pillows from the hotel. We are only in our 50s…

Service from Cory was outstanding. Top notch. Noise level was deafening. Food was "Meh"...nothing bad, nothing great.

Went to Siena for a Monday lunch with friends. The food and service were wonderful and the room is bright and welcoming. However, the music was so loud that it was, at times, difficult to have a discussion. We asked for the music level to be lowered but it remained unreasonably loud.

Very pleasant time there. We have gone multiple times over this last year. The entire side of the restaurant in glass that open in the summer to the Norwalk River flowing 50 feet away. Now it is closed but still lovely setting. Wait staff was attentive, professional and knowledgeable and we were not rushed. It was a bit louder than a normal night but the food made up for any sound annoyance. House cocktails were imaginative and well prepared. Appitizers were good but didn't show the creativity of the entrees. The wild boar ragu entree was especially noteworthy as was the monk fish made in an "Rosso Bocco" slow cooked manner. Interesting, tasty and worth the trip. All in all, a strong recommendation for a lovely location for meeting friends or a date night.
