Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is a full service tearoom in Downtown Boston specializing in English style afternoon tea service. Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.

We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to six weeks in advance. We can accommodate parties of up to six guests on weekends, and parties of up to twelve guests Wednesday through Friday.

We serve a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions from around the world and of various styles. We also provide a selection of craft cocktails and mocktails, as well as sparkling and still wines.

Our kitchen is completely gluten free (and oat free). We are independently owned and operated.

                          This was an absolute gem of a place! We ate here for a Galentines lunch and it was above and beyond. Beautiful environment, delicious food and superb service.

                          Silver Dove was amazing! 100% Gluten free and they were able to easily accommodate dairy free as well. And Everything Was Delicious!! So many unique flavors. I do not make it to Boston often, but when I do, Silver Dove Afternoon tea will be a required stop!

                          It was a lovely experience. The tea and the food and the service were top-notch. It’s a lovely decor and a great atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it more.

                          I love afternoon teas and I was eager to experience afternoon tea at Silver Dove after seeing glowing reviews on Instagram. However, my visit was underwhelming. The food selection was sparse, and the flavors didn't quite hit the mark. While the scone was good (1 per person), the other sweets didn't impress me. On a positive note, the tea was served piping hot, which I appreciated. Definitely not worth the price.

                          I came for afternoon tea with my daughter, it was a special occasion and the experience was just perfect. Everything was delicious, staff were kind and helpful, we loved it.

                          The afternoon tea experience was amazing. The staff, the food, and the ambiance was outstanding. I highly recommend going and it was a better experience than other afternoon tea places in Boston.

                          Food is unique and very good. Amazing how the small bites fill you up. Such a wonderful experience with and peace of mind for gluten free food. And great options for other food allergies and preferences as well
