Sister is a restaurant project from Duro Hospitality. Sister will live in the halls of the famed Grape, a Dallas icon for over 40 years. She will serve loosely Italian-inspired neighborhood fare, wood-fired meats and fish, daily house made pasta, and lightly Mediterranean inspired cuisine. The design will feel like a family Trattoria that has grown through the years including collected memorabilia giving the space a quirky and playful feeling. Sister will be a relaxed and comfortable neighborhood spot for every day. Sister is open seven nights per week.

Generally speaking I liked the experience Sisters is creating with the shared plates. Bar drinks were excellent. The various dishes each read and sound interesting. I understand their use of lemon and other acids to offset the fat component of the different dishes in an effort to create balance. I would suggest a more subtle hand of the acidic component to create a more balanced taste. That way one can more easily taste the other interesting ingredients. It got to the point where everything tasted the same. Very lemony.

Service was excellent. Food was good overall, but was a little too spicy for my palate.

Great time out in Dallas. Amazing recommendations by the server. Food was great. Drinks were plentiful. Service was fast! Will come back.

Special restaurant - great service (helpful with the recommendations), delicious food in a fun setting. This was my second time in a week - took my husband to celebrate his birthday. Big hit!

This little neighborhood gem was not only beautiful inside but the food was fantastic. Our server went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of 5 stars. Book a rezzie now, it’s the perfect cozy restaurant.

This mine and my fiancé’s second time at Sister. Both times we’ve had Jordan as our waitress and she has been phenomenal on each occasion. The sommelier was knowledgeable and helped guide us to a Pinot noir that was perfect - and he later talked us into being adventurous with an Italian wine I never would have tried otherwise but ended up loving. The food is always amazing and well seasoned. The pasta continues to be our favorite - we ordered 2 different ones each visit and they never disappoint. We’ll 100% be back.

The food was delicious. The waiter was in such a hurry to bring out and take away our food bread, sea salt and we weren’t finished and had to stop him from doing that. we It was very loud but overall definitely recommended

Great food as always. Felt a bit rushed by the waitress, but that could have just been her being attentive.
