Sisters Thai is excited to expand with a new location in Old Town Alexandria, thanks to a long-standing partnership with Edens since 2015. This fourth location is special, combining the beloved Sisters Thai restaurant with the Magnolia Dessert Bar & Coffee, known for its unique and charming desserts. The 4,500 sq. ft. space will feature Sisters Thai's signature decor, including a brick wall mural of the King of Thailand and the Magnolia shop's floral touches, particularly the "Magnolia Grand Garland" at the entrance. The space aims to provide a welcoming ambiance, with a focus on quality food and desserts. Despite the challenges, the team is dedicated to bringing their vision to life and hopes guests will enjoy the experience.

This location just isn’t good. I’d recommend another location, over the Alexandria one. Service was lacking, no one checked on us once we had received our food, which was prepared incorrectly. So, by the time someone came by, the food was cold & we had been sitting there unable to eat dinner for about an hour & didn’t want to wait longer to order something else. Instead of offering to comp or replace the food that was prepared wrong, they charged us for everything even tho we couldn’t eat it. For dinner service, the lighting was so bright, there was nowhere to place our coats or my handbag & we had to squeeze into banquette seating between table placed way too close together. Also, there were people standing around the dining room waiting for tables disrupting customers trying to eat their meals, no where to stand or wait for a table, all around a poor experience & a really gross restroom situation as well. I’m not sure how the health department hasn’t been called out, there are some changes that are needed in order to bring the restaurant up to par with the other locations for sure. Avoid this one at all costs.

Good casual food with the added bonus of a beautiful bakery attached. If you are looking for a quieter restaurant, this is not it, but overall, a great restaurant.

Nice vibe, excellent service, interesting menu and the servings are not huge. The drink menu has lots of unique options, but they were all $17. I can’t say I don’t pay that for drinks in DC, but I don’t think every drink was worth $17 bucks. Otherwise, I enjoyed Sisters Thai and look forward to a second visit to see if it’s consistent. There is also lots of space with outdoor seating.

Everytime I come here, I am impressed. Today we brought my sister her for a birthday lunch and everything was delicious. It’s hard to impress my entire family but everyone said they loved their food and couldn’t wait to return!
