Soak up our friendly service and homely charm when nestled in the heart of Fulbourn. Here at The Six Bells, we are the perfect retreat to sit back, relax and indulge in our delicious food with your favourite drink in hand. Our traditional pub classics are expertly crafted from our seasonal menus and the bar is crammed with local ales and tipples to tempt any taste buds. Using the most seasonal ingredients and decadent flavours, there's a dish for every desire. Our large function room with exclusive bar can be hired for events, celebrations and even movies! The restaurant can also be hired exclusively. With two bar areas for watching sport and seperate casual dining space, you're truly spoilt to find your favourite corner.

    First time back since under new management. Great menu - not huge but something for all tastes and everything seems to be cooked to order. Good but unhurried service. Definitely go again

    Our waitress was very friendly but we did have some issues with our meals which we didn’t feel were really resolved. We have privately messaged the pub.

    Since this pub has been taken over by new landlord it has renewed some of it’s old magic from years ago. Food was amazing. Will definitely bereturning

    I booked a table for 2 for Mon 16 Dec at 8 and was sent a reminder the day before and replied saying yes we were coming. Turned up 7.45 to be greeted by the landlord saying he didn't serve food Mondays and Tuesdays and he hadn't a chef. It was a birthday meal and a very unpleasant experience. If there was a problem we could have been notified or, at least, an apologetic landlord. Needless to say we went to a welcoming restaurant in the next village and had a very good experience.

    Dear Alex I am so sorry that this occured. We have recently taken over the 6 Bells and found that we had been let down by team on several occasions. This is not an excuse but an explaination. I have no recruited a full time team including 2 very experienced chefs. As a resut we have fully reopened the kitchen throughout the week. Please give us another chance so that we can show you how much we have changed since December Kind regards Tony

    I booked a table for four to show friends my new local pub after a country walk. When we got there it turned out the chef went off sick earlier and no one notified me. They claim they did not have my phone number or email address. I find this hard to believe after booking with Open Table. I suspect they had no idea they had bookings on Open Table and never checked. The restaurant manager was apologetic, but the experience was embarrassing and the damage was done.

    On arrival I was advised there was no chef for the evening, therefore no food. The pub made no efforts to contact me to advise me of this, and I had to find somewhere else at the last minute. They can’t help their chef not turning up but they should contact those with a booking to advise it can’t be fulfilled.

    After getting a confirmation of our booking we arrived after a two hour drive to find it boarded up. It had obviously been closed for some time. This was very upsetting as we had taken my 90 year old Aunt out from her care home for lunch.

    Very disappointed, my family travelled up from London to meet me. I had made a table booking earlier in the week. When we arrived I was told the kitchen was not open! Why wasn't I notified beforehand? Needless to say we won't be booking again

    The food was very basic and unappealing. The roast dinner the worst we have had for a long time. The food was warm with gravy poured over for quickness !

    We booked a table for Sunday, unfortunately the new owners hadn’t been in long so their booking system was down and didn’t show our booking. It was ok, as they had tables spare but sadly no Sunday menu - only a limited one. Was disappointed but the food was still absolutely lovely, really good quality but portion sizes could have been bigger for the price. That being said, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The ambiance was lovely and the overall experience was good and we will definitely return when they have established their full menu!
