Small space hence noise level and ambiance ,which can be overlooked by quality of food , menu selections .. server Sean was professional., more than friendly knew his stuff Resi are a must BYOB too . Chef took the time to say hello We had great night. Thank you

Scratch Kitchen is a welcomed addition to the sometimes lackluster restaurants in the Jersey Shore area. At Scratch they show a respect for their diners from their exemplary service, table settings, written specials and presentation to the quality of the food served. It is also very nice to have a crusty bread service to accompany a meal that by its nature encourages “dipping”. The meal I enjoyed was the cod with cannellini beans along with an order of well seasoned potatoes. While cod can sometimes be bland, this dish was filled with delicious flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be sure to reserve when I return from Charleston SC in the near future.

What a wonderful little find. The food was delicious and our waiter Sean was attentive, funny and kind. Our girls' night was filled with laughter as we celebrated 3 birthdays simultaneously and Sean thought to put candles in each one of their desserts. We were happy to find on street parking pretty easily even though we had a 7:30 reservation (a popular dinner time). We will be back and tell all of our friends to go!

Love Skratch kitchen!!! All the food is amazing and our waiter Shawn was very personable and knowledgeable! Ordered the Cajun clams, stuffed artichoke hearts, the gnudi, and the 3 course pasta special for $40! Their carrot cake is the best I’ve ever had!

I had the Chicken Savoy and my friends both had pasta for dinner. For appetizers we had the Caesar salad and eggplant- both delish!! Bread was crusty and fresh. Bread pudding for dessert. Everything was excellent and always consistent.

Another great meal at scratch kitchen. This remains one of our favorite spots to go to for great food from wholesome ingredients made from scratch. Highly recommended and make a reservation because it gets busy.

Lovely relaxed service and delicious menu items (burrata with figs and pear, chicken savoy, stuffed rigatoni with scrimp). Will be very happy to return !
