Skull Creek Dockside Restaurant, dropped its anchor in the Fall of 2017 and forever changed the culinary landscape of the Lowcountry. In early 2017 the partners of the restaurant began to transform it into their vision for Hilton Head's newest waterfront dining destination. This restaurant, which resembles an old-style river house, is full of authentic architecture, reclaimed wood, and nautical accents that leave you feeling like you've stepped into a Melville novel. The sweeping waterfront view is showcased by full pane glass windows throughout the restaurant which you can enjoy no matter where you dine. The covered patio dining area, and massive outdoor bar, the shark bar, allows patrons to enjoy the Lowcountry climate and serve to further highlight the amazing sunset views over skull creek. If you are concerned about long wait times, the good news is the restaurant accepts reservations and provides a family recreation area between dockside and boathouse. Kids and adults can enjoy a variety of games, the very popular shark bar and 'shrimp boat' playground. Kids can play while families are waiting for a table, or simply enjoying the amazing waterfront views.

Nothing but good things about the taste and quality of the food and service but definitely paid tourist prices. I would recommend only if you’re not on a budget.

Overall it was good. The pasta was a little undercooked the breading on the scallops fell off. The seared scallops and stuffed trout was great.

Our waitress Ally was fantastic! Gave us fantastic recommendations for what to order. The smokehouse nachos were to die for! And the seafood Alfredo….delish. All the kids said the chicken tenders were the best they’ve ever had… and they are picky! Very charming and warm bar area. We’ll be back!

Service was good. Drinks were good. Smoked wings were excellent but entree’s were just ok.

We really enjoyed dinner at Dockside! The food was excellent with generous portions. I had the lobster mac and cheese and have never tasted anything better! Will definitely be back!

First thing I drove 5.5 hours for dinner with my folks . The waitress Ashley really didn’t offer us bread but I heard tables offer bread no bread here until halfway through the meal . And after the food she also didn’t offer us a desserts or an after dinner drink.

Thank you for choosing us to dine with after such a long drive! I want to apologize for the wait on the bread. We want to ensure it's nice and fresh and warm so we make it to order. Sometimes we get behind doing it this way. We will be looking into ways of fixing this problem without sacrificing the quality or freshness of the bread. In addition you should always be offered dessert/drinks after your meal. We will review the steps of service with the staff to help insure this does not happen again. You drove very far for a special meal with your family. You could have eaten anywhere but you chose us. We appreciate that and would love a second chance to make your dining experience with us a great one!

Picked this one from the reviews and menu. The pulled pork was excellent; frankly, the brisket was a disappointment. Our order came out quickly and the service was good. Beautiful view.
