As always- the service and the food from the wonderful kitchen is amazing. My favorite go to is the steamed clams with pasta. Until my next visit.

The food and ambiance are always very good at Skyline. The service is mixed and the prices are on the higher side. If you get the right server it's almost worth the price, unfortunately on our last visit this wasn't the case.

The food and service were really quite excellent. However, it was very pricey. Two entrees, shared salad, shared dessert and 2 drinks each with tip. Very little change out of $200. Moved this place's price into the special occasion category for us, without feeling too special

We went for Father's Day and were told to sit anywhere. We were ignored for 10-15 minutes while 3 servers walked by us several times. It was not busy, and there were many empty tables around us and outside. Once we were acknowledged, the experience somewhat improved. This was our first time at this restaurant, and we will not return. We have dined several times at the location in Midtown, and had decent service. It was not a great atmosphere to celebrate Father's Day, as the servers all seemed stressed and sour although it was not busy inside or outside. It does not seem like a happy place, and the prices should not equate to poor and apathetic service. I apologized to my husband for such a sad Father's Day "celebration."

We've dined there year after year. We've ridden our bikes 14 miles to enjoy iced teas. When we decided to go there last Saturday we sat outside and were promptly asked if we'd like something to drink. Moments later, drinks arrived. An excellent long island and a Cosmo. We ordered our selections and all was well. Once the food arrived it was as if the waitress disappeared. We ran out of ketchup. 15 minutes go by, so we decided we'd just take home the remainder. Then, the waitress appeared and we asked for the check. When I tried their DELICIOUS 1/2 Pound burger I was impressed that the cook nailed the rare perfectly. The fries were pretty good, as well. The go-to salmon was noticeably smaller, but cooked a perfect medium. The check arrived about 5 minutes later. Then it struck me odd that my burger didn't come with fries...those we're now $8 extra. Okay I thought, lesson learned...just never dawned on me that when the waitress asked "Fries?", it never dawned on me that is a separate order, I mean let's face it, a $20 burger shouldn't come with fries? I thought about how to tip the waitress on a $139 check. The food was great, the waitress was great at the start, becoming more and more absent. We boxed up the rest and waited for the waitress to come and get the check...for another 10 minutes. The place wasn't packed. Maybe at 30%...on a Saturday at dusk. To sum it up, something has significantly change at Skyline and it isn't for the better. TIPS stands for "To insure prompt service"...so where I'd usually round the tip up, I cut it by two thirds... $10. The cook didn't deserve it, but the waitress certainly did. As for the $8 fries, that's just absurd. Lesson learned. We will ride our bikes to Skyline this coming hot weekend...we'll see how that goes. I've checked the "Yes I'd recommend" box for the moment...hold the fries as they say.

The food is very good. Service, atmosphere, and value for the money are just okay. Went for Mother's Day dinner, they didn't have a record of the reservation but it was not very crowded, so not a problem getting a table. Service was slow and just so-so. One of our orders was wrong and when we brought it to the attention of the waitress she said she would correct the bill, but didn't.
