Skyline offers exceptional views of Downtown Lynchburg from both inside and out. You’ll enjoy comforting food, exceptional service, and a cozy atmosphere when you dine here. This contemporary rooftop bar offers a lively environment for enjoying good food with good friends.

Skyline offers reservations for indoor dining only. Outdoor and covered patio seating may be available, weather permitting. Please call to enquire about reservations for 7 or more guests. Unfortunately, due to the size and layout of our restaurant, we will be unable to accommodate reservations for 11 or more guests without prior management approval. In order to maintain the level of service and quality of experience that all of our guests expect, we reserve the right to remove duplicate reservations, and multiple reservations made under the same name or phone number.

    Overall, good experience. Food could use some improvement, but the ambience was excellent! Service was ok. Would return primarily because of the view and outside seating.

     This was one of the nicest casual dining experiences we have had in Lynchburg for a while. We really like the Skyline menu for a casual evening, but one which accepts reservations. There are so many menu choices that everyone should be able to find something that appeals. We each had something different and everyone was very happy with their food. My steak salad was cooked perfectly and it was a nice size portion. Many times in a steak wedge salad the wedge is so huge that you can’t possibly eat the whole thing. Another diner had the fish and chips which came out absolutely perfectly-delicious French fries and perfectly cooked fish. Another diner just had two appetizers: the Caesar salad and the crabcake appetizers. The crabcakes are tiny, appetizer size, but had a lot of flavor. And the fourth diner went with chicken, which also was cooked perfectly, tender, and tasty. All presentations were upscale. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. The meal was paced correctly, and she did a fine job of keeping an eye on our drinks and our meals. The special dessert of the evening was a red velvet cheesecake and it was spectacular. Prices were perfect for the quality of food. We will be back.

    The food was good, came out piping hot as it should. the seating allowed for enough privacy for my group to enjoy conversations without being totally isolated. Because dining is as much about ambiance and atmosphere, it was enjoyable to have light music playing in the background.

    Everything was fantastic — my only comment would be that the outdoor heating was a bit overly ambitious and made the (both outdoor and indoor) areas very warm for the first hour or so. Once they were turned off the temperature was great. Overall we had a good experience!

    Food and atmosphere were very good. Music selection was fantastic if you enjoy 80s new wave (New Order, Pet Shop Boys). Made it very fun. Service also good.

    My husband and I always enjoy Skyline! The pork ribeye with seasonal vegetables is my personal favorite, and has never disappointed!

    Beautiful atmosphere- we did sit out on the porch near a fire pit next to a plastic window that had a cold breeze but that was worth it for the delicious food and drinks. Very friendly and attentive server. Definitely recommend the seared scallops over risotto!

    We had an excellent experience at Skyline this evening celebrating our 24th Anniversary! The food was delicious, everything the coconut shrimp appetizer our starter salads and our entrees were delicious! Pecan crusted salmon and the pork ribeye! Just excellent! Sean was our server & provided us with exceptional service! Not every special occasion needs a steaks I can truly say this was one of the best meals we have had out in a long time! Can’t wait to go back again!
