We waited 45 mins for our first course. Service was extremely slow for early dinner on Sunday. Starters: steak tare tare & cheese soufflé was good. Mains: shepherds pie was borderline warm/cold when arrived, crab and cockle linguine only had 2 cockles in shell, which were very gritty Dessert: ok, not good not bad. Reasonable and what we expected.

Fab venue, lovely service, 6 of us, 6 great starters and 4 great mains. 2 of us had fish pie mains which were dry and overcooked while the peas were cold. The staff could not have been nicer and sorted the bill, and I will definitely go back back.

Lovely food - but service was shocking. Took an age to take our drinks order - we ended up only having one all meal. Waiters seemed frantic and so many tables around us also trying to get their attention. We asked for the bill straight after mains as couldn’t be bothered to wait any longer for anything else. As I say the food itself was lovely but the experience was a bit of a disappointment overall sadly.

A very lovely restaurant with wonderful views and excellent food. The only downside was the room temperature. We went in the evening and it was very cold. We complained to the staff about this but they said they had no control over the heating, which was very frustrating. One staff member actually said it would warm up soon so we stayed in hope. By the time we realised it wasn’t going to warm up, it was too late to leave as our food had arrived. The service was that fast! We ate our dinner in our coats which was not the best. If I’m to go back there in future, I’ll only go during the day on a hot sunny day.

The food was excellent and the waiting staff friendly and helpful. However we had to wait a very long time between our starters and main courses. This meant that we did not have time to have a dessert before it was time to go to the concert. We were told that the delay was because so many people were dining at once before the concert. When you run a restaurant in a concert venue surely you should be able to make sure you have enough staff on duty on days when there is a popular concert.

While our waitress was very kind and friendly, overall there was not enough staff and everyone seemed to be under huge pressure. This is probably a general problem of the hospitality sector at the moment. The food was very good. The cheese soufflé was a highlight - fluffy, light, and full of flavour.

Slow service, communication poor, forgot an item of our order and never acknowledged it, brought the bill and had to be told it was missing. Lights kept being bright and then dimming, even the staff seemed unsure why it was happening

Whilst the food was good and drinks, in particular the cocktails, the service was not as attentive considering the prices and location. The main reason for the 1 star is the temp inside was ridiculous. I am not even exagerating, it was like we were in a sauna it was that hot! I had to take off my jumper and was in my t shirt and it was still unbearable! Very uncomfortable when you are trying to enjoy. They should sort this out asap as it was such a shane because of this. The service as well although polite, just were not attentive enough as I had to call a few times either to order or for the bill or water.
