Tonight was date night. We got tickets to the Aaron Watson, and we wanted to go to a nice restaurant before the show. Wow! What a beautiful place. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the drinks were great! Thank you! We’ll be back.

our family of 5 met here for the thanksgiving lunch buffet. the restaurant itself was nice bright and inviting. our server, hailey was the best! she had a fantastic attitude and was so lovely - along with the other waitresses in our area, everyone was so kind! the food was also surprisingly good (we’ve done thanksgiving buffets at other hotels in the past, the food was subpar). we had stuffing, mashed & sweet potatoes, turkey and corned beef with gravy, and topped it all off with a slice of pecan pie. gotta say, it was pretty dang good! only minor complaint was that we couldn’t find any cranberry sauce. safe to say, we will definitely be back next year!

To be honest, we were not expecting much after reading reviews of this restaurant. But we decided to give it a try since we had just driven hours to get to Abilene. We actually enjoyed our meal and were glad that we ate at the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. And our server Haley was simply the best!

They were out of two drinks and one entree that our part of 5 ordered. But it was very sparsely crowded for a Saturday night. The service was fine. The prices are too high for Abilene, compared to other nice Abilene options. They should advertise to the local community about their local residency discount. That would likely bring in more local traffic. This is a nice addition to downtown Abilene.

The food was adequate, nothing special. The prices were high for what you get. The noise level for the 13 people in there at the time we visited was very high. There was one toddler at the table next to us and when he let out a shriek it was ear splitting. The place is in dire need of sound absorbing material on the ceiling and walls. We might as well have been at McDonald's if we wanted a quiet meal for our anniversary. The server, on the other hand, was excellent. Hailie is a junior at McMurray College majoring in physics. A very bright and hard working young lady.

Ordered the smoked corn beef hash. It was mostly undercooked, under-seasoned potatoes. Quite a bit of fat on the meat, some of the meat chunks were pure fat. What actual meat I did get was good. Husbands meal was very salty. Daughter’s pancake was undercooked (they did take it off the check, thank you) other daughters Cuban sandwich the mustard was all on one side. Took awhile to get refills. Wasn’t crowded at all.

I ordered the daily special which was pulled pork sandwich. The pork was so dry it was like trying to chew straw. The meals are not as tasty as I've experienced elsewhere. Wish the menu would freshen up and serve what most people would like to have at lunch time. The lack of customers should be evidence enough that something is not quite working well. But I do love the beautiful atmosphere and the service. I would love to see the restaurant FULL to capacity at lunch time.
